what does range show on dashboad of ur vehicle?

Yes it is but the speed should be around 15 to 20Km then only i can achieve 26kw/h. Another thing is the vehicle dash board is true or App dashboard is true?. Bcz vehicle dash board is showing 19 KM form 35 percent battery in Sport mode but App shows 59 KM which one is true…?

The battery consumption in more a factor of momentum than speed. I personally have not been able to drive at below 35 kmph. But slowly learnt to go with the traffic flow. I ensure that you don’t open throttle fully and immediately break. I have managed 29 watts over 28 KLM on vijaynagar to ITPL router via old airport road Bangalore. Avg speed was over 20 kmph and top speed will be around 50+ This is my current consistent range that I can manage in driving at various time slots worst now is 33 w when I started it was 40 w on same route

Guess, we need clarity on this.

I think vehicle dash board is true bcz app is not showing correct projected range

This should help:

What’s shown on the dashboard is the standard true range values and the same based on your battery percent. That is, 55, 65 and 75 on SPORT, RIDE & ECO respectively. The app also shows the same on the main screen when you open the app.

I usually ride in SPORT and get an average of about 80kms prediction in SPORT. So e.g. if the dashboard shows 32 Kms at 60%, I know I’ll get about 40+ kms in SPORT at 60%.

So, 80km prediction is at 100% battery charge level. So at 60%, it would be 48km. Am I right?

Any how it all depends on how the traffic is and what is constant speed at which you are traveling i.e if you travel at high speed long distance battery drains fast and slow speed long distance battery drains slow.App show maximum speed but will not show what is the distance traveled in max speed it may be 1 sec or 5 min. If you switch on the scooter and push for 500 meters then you will get good range…!!!:grinning::grinning:

Yes, pretty much. But it’s not easy to keep calculating the range everytime. Since 80kms is close to the true range in ECO (75), I switch to ECO just to see what range it shows and then switch back to SPORT :stuck_out_tongue:

Great…by your way of checking into ECO range you are assured that you will reach home and have “Crispy Poppadom”. Thank you for the good explanation.

Dashboard shows the true range which is 75 - 65 - 55 and it will be constant, whereas pridected range in app shows based on your riding patterns and it will be keep on changing.

Already checked in SPORT mode ( 55 KM in full charge)the range give is 100% right you will get it for sure i checked it

There is one old slogan years back Fill it…Shut it…Forget it… for Hero Honda motor cycle . For Now Ather its changed to Charge it…Remove it…Forget it…:grinning: Dont count the millage scooter dash board shows exact range not app its only predicted range. Just charge and enjoy each and every moment of riding thats all :grinning:

Hello All, I’m not Pro Forum person and just a learner.

Wanted to share my ride stats of today’s.

I’m happy!

That is a nice efficiency you got there!

How to reduce wh/km to increase the km And how to use Regen to increase the battery capacity in turn the mileage

Hi this should help you in clarifying the same.

How to use regen:

Less efficiency grater Average Speed with highest top speed in Sports mode…

Accelerate slowly and prepare for changes in traffic flow.

I’d Initially thought that better efficiency was related to lower top speed. But it’s actually just about making best use of the power you put into the wheels.

Could’ve saved myself some time and back ache if I knew this when I went to Savandurga and Shivagange🤦🏻‍♂️

Here’s an example:

Getting a good efficiency on flyovers and highways is easier. In the screenshot below, I’d actually kept a constant speed of about 45-55kmph. Gathered some speed and kept the throttle position constant while climbing flyovers. Coasted, and maybe even accelerated a bit while coming down, depending on whether I’ll have to slow down or climb another flyover. If you prepare for what’s ahead of you and use regen or acceleration accordingly, you will see better efficiency numbers.

Accelerating gradually is probably difficult though. SPORT mode detects even the slightest change in throttle movement. It’s easier to do in ECO or RIDE mode. It might take some time to learn to throttle slowly in SPORT mode.

Trying to push my efficiency numbers lower and top speed numbers higher
