As per this YouTube video ( https://youtu.be/TgXPicR-oxs )the base varient and middle varient are coming with 250watt charger that going to take 16hrs to full charge the scooter.
The base varient will have b/w non touch screen with no smart features??!!!
If this is true, then Shame that Ather is rolling back in time!!

@deandhruv Brother, might be you and @abhishek.balaji is a little bit confusing. As per my talk with EC both 250W(with 450X) and 750W(450X pro) is available and no extra cost for fast charger. Also go through the disclaimer in Ather website clearly mentioning that fast charger will be included in pro pack. What @abhishek.balaji is trying to say that they will develop a new charger which can reduce 15 hr time for base variant.

There is no official conformation for a 250w charger, maybe it will be a 200w charger, the Assumption started by @HarshaVardhan is going through all channels like WhatsApp, Telegram, now YouTube., They now have removed the entire charging section from their website www.atherenergy.com. Both DOT and portable charger is missing from it.
And those who got 450 plus and now think we should have waited for 450x without pro. you guys are lucky, 450x without pro is the basic model like Hero electric scooter. not connected and no display function, and no grid access.
But those who bought the 450x version you are getting the 750w charger instead of the basic charger which is now to be purchased separately. the charger itself cost around 20k. IMO this should suffice the price difference.

It’s not a small price change, It’s 20K to 30K. And doesn’t include Ather Connect subscription wven if we have paid more. I have bought TPMS paying 5K additionally, what if it stops working? What if I cant use ride modes after 30 June after Ather connect expire?
There no clarity on what will continue to work and what will Not after June 30 for existing customers.

Yes, it may be true only when the 250 W charger is bundled with the new scooters.
But for the time being, Ather is bundling the 750w charger as free charger along with the scooter ( Till they sort things about 250 W charger). For those who opt for the Pro Pack can use it for faster charging.
And the new Pro Pack buyers are assured of Ather connect for 3 Years.
So basically the previous buyers had to pay more and get less benefits.
Kindly note that, these things can be easily solved by Ather by giving clarity of what will happen to the recent buyers. Since Ather connect/ service packs are offered as subscription packs… they can easily provide these subscription for the eligible customers free of cost (atleast for 3 years) as a goodwilll gesture to compensate the previous owners.
By doing this only the previous buyers will be at par with the new buyers.
Please note that, those who have bought the scooter paid approx. 15k more compared to the new buyers.
So, the generous offer given to the new customers may also be applied to those who bought Ather recently.

For existing customers make grid and connect pro free for 3 yrs which they are providing to new customers… Itna toh deserve krte hai na humlog!!!

It does not work like this guys, company works on papers not emotions. Since past, they always provided connect pro and grid service free for 3 months basis only and never stated that it will continue ‘free’ till dawn. So as of now, if your connect pro has expiry date of three months then you will get it up till then, but after that you can understand that its never going to be free all the time. As far as price of scooter is concerned, its so natural. For eg; the well established ICE industry also changes the prices of their vehicles time to time, so why cant the EVs.

What is misleading in this? You paid as per the on road price back then.
You got the same bike that is now sold as 450x with Pro pack. The new owners will get additional 3 yrs of subscription. There is no other difference.
No company can force a user to pay. Did you put you on gun point and ask you to make the payment, No right?They will pursue you to get the payment done to meet the targets and thats what exactly what every company out there does. The sales executives have their incentives based on sales so they will do the best to achieve it. Saying you were forced is completely stupid.
It just doesn’t matter if you got the delivery of the scooter a day before the new offers were announced. They are here to make money and such offers will keep coming and going. There is nothing anyone can do. Thats the way businesses work. So no use complaining that you paid ₹15-20k extra since on the day of the invoice that was the price of the scooter. Maybe they will extend the subscription pack for current users or they won’t. Its better to just enjoy the beautiful machine and not crib about paying extra since it’s just like any other product company.
It will continue the way it is. There is no change for existing customers. If you have already subscribed to the plans, you will continue to do so.

As of today, Swapnil confirmed in Twitter that Pro pack would come with 750W charger and no additional purchase is required for the same. Few EC’s are sharing as additional purchase would be fixed as there might be a communication gap.

Do waste your time and energy on repeating the same demands guys, else demand something which is practically possible and as per laws, like Ather grid should be exempted from Connect pro and included in Assure plan, their should be same fast charger with every model as per govt norms (pro one may have some extra charging speed due to software) to make 450x more practical option. #AthergridinAtherAssure #SingleFastCharger.

I just bought ather450x Pro pack, just 2 days back.
Happy with Ather450x rides. I booked 2 vechiles and later decided to buy one after a month.
But Feel disappointed that we were not informed about such offers.
Ather sales would have informed us that wait for 2 days…
Ather team did not sell any accessories alongwith Vechile. We requested for Sidefoot stand. Any Two wheeler showroom will try to sell accessories but it here was vice versa. I presume due to offers sales guys didnt want to sell it.
Customers are brand amassadors , never disappoint them.

Just checked the tweet. It clearly states currently and not indefinitely. Same as confirmed by Abhishek in this post. Hopefully, they change this & provide the 750w charger going further

It might not matter for some people who do have lot of money and are satisfied with whatever they get. I’m a typical Indian buyer and i have my frustrations if things doesn’t go right. In my case i have clearly mentioned what misleading is and how financial targets where achieved. What’s your fuss about justifying things for me. You love your machine you drive it without complaining. I’m a new customer and i have my complaints let the company reply proactively if they are not doing business ethically. I don’t need your piece advice.
