Can you confirm if the trip planner feature will be rolled out to support long rides?

Since the list of chargers is already available when entering the tech park / building complex name, providing it also in map mode makes it easier to search. Even if some chargers are restricted, they can be marked on the map.

Currently the maps don’t allow selected of alternate routes or shows them. Any plans of including this in the maps on the scooter?

Now that’s why folks you should never ask AI half baked questions. Points 1, 2, 3, 5 invalid as our scooters are already connected to the interet 24x7 over cellular data. Point 4 yeah sure a .01A device will drain the battery but what do I know.
Our scooters are constantly pinging Ather servers every second for diagnostic data and uptime notification to the server over cellular, if that traffic and ota traffic can be diverted through a secure wifi connection then why not. In the end our home wifi is as secure as we make it ourselves, speaking for me I monitor the kind of data, connected devices and urls that my devices talk to over my wifi pretty regularly.
For point 4, as far as my testing goes over the years using multiple SOCs incl sd 212 and other iot/aiot devices for various projects cellular chips consume atleast 5x more power than Wifi esp 2.4Ghz.

Its been Around 3.5 years we are hearing this from the time Ather 450x is released. A simple feature compared to more complex one you guys are adding.

Have to restart my scooter everytime whenever I come out of no coverage area to connect it back to the network. This is a serious issue with tracking the scooter as it does not sync location, ride status, charge status without reaching the server. Even for days.
Have this issue been taken care of in atherstack 6, I guess wifi direct will be a good idea to get this sorted out. Like they do in cars for Android Auto.

Would appreciate your backend work to make our ride a way smoother & easy. Loved Ather in this thing. I liked dark theme in forum section, new app ui & everything. At time we ride during night times if we open app & that opens up with harsh white theme which is too un comfortable during night times, many may face it but me & family using Ather app face uncomfortable. Maps while we send location to scooter, switch on at times location is not showing, either it will end up showing some random locations while not the location im in. While riding we see which way to go but maps is way slower it will take much time show or load at peak riding time or at traffic signal. I faced many bugs like that while i go to un named location routes. At that time it gets frustate, open mobile see location & then send again, wait till it shows up then start ride. Those weee the bugs i faced many time till now, hope stack 6 atleast fix maps dark theme & show different theme colours with new simpler ui. We don’t spend much time while we ride but small things which makes the end user oh ok good, hope you fix & push update smoother.

Maybe the software team should leverage the power of this forum and actually see if there are any bugs reported here, or maybe the community team here should communicate the bugs to you guys instead of communicating to us that the issue has been fixed in the update.

hi Mayukh, thanks for reaching out. We haven’t yet planned putting incognito mode behind a passcode - may I know the situation / scenario when you would be needing this? Trying to understand how many of our users would potentially benefit from something like this.
Regarding, ability to set custom percentage to charge before stopping on public chargers - we will get back to you on this as the team is actively working on improving the public charging experience, might take some time for it to become a reality though. Currently the focus is on expanding our public grid to more places in India and also to increase charging rates!

auto theme and auto brightness change time should be determined based on location and month (not 6am and 6pm) because as the month changes the dusk and dawn times also change

Over a period of 3.5 years from the launch of 450X many have requested and gave use cases for this. Post that again if team is still trying to understand the use case it is quite a surprise.
However to answer the need
- Cases of theft we cannot track if it is put into incognito mode. This mode not a secrete mode that theif may not know.
- Vehicle lent to some one other than the original owner no means to track. (May ask why but the case is they may not follow rules and its towed example).
- In incognito we cannot track the ride. ( if lent to some one cannot know the riding style especially in case of young kids this is important) incognito disables this ability.
These are few use cases.
