I really hope this live efficiency display makes a comeback
By implementing a enable and disable to show live efficiency would work for users who want a clean look
Am really hoping this makes a comeback tho
Can 450S users also get the feature of automatically sending a message when they disconnect the incoming call using the scooters joystick because they are riding? Something I believe is coming to other models.
When will multi hop planner worker for 450S model? Basically giving 2 destinations and it should be able to take the route.
Currently when you give a destination in the app, the route shown is app oftentimes differs from the route the navigation takes. I know you use Map my India for 450s, but why this discrepancy ?
Can we connect 2 devices with 2 scooters and switch seamlessly?
We have 2 scooters, and me and my father use both of them.
This question I had asked in previous QnA as well, have you worked out that?
It doesn’t consider the fast chargers, even if it’s on route or some distance away from the route (where ideally it should tell to charge and come back on route).
It works in very limited scenarios. Not as intelligent and useful I would say.
It’s not just the trends in riding efficiency but I can probably utilise the data to see additional data like coasting, regen, braking, etc. Ather collects a good amount of telemetry data and it would be great to take a peek to improve our connected scooter ownership experience.
I am unsure what security risks exporting data would pose but I am sure Ather engineers can figure that out. As for the system strain, perhaps make the historical data available only for 15 days before auto-deleting every month or just extend it only to the Ather Connect paying customers.
I think they are not answering it because of a main reason, As I mentioned may be, but who knows until they confirm what it’s about No more comments from my side about this topic
When my dad and inlaw drive the scooter they get misleaded by map rerouting and end up travelling in wrong/long trips. Geo fencing would be helpful where i can ensure potential route for mistake will be fenced.
Scenario 2: when i give scooter to colleagues i want to ensure its used within certain range.
Being a indian grown brand (main reason to chose Ather) when you will be coming out of Google maps…
Is Ather compatible to NAVIC?
Will we get switched to owr own positioning system in future?
Two very minimal feature requests… locking the incognito mode behind a passcode. And the ability to set custom percentage to charge to before stopping on public chargers.
Hardware is available from gen1 as these functions are built into soc sd212 used in all our vehicles. As for the security risk, I am still to find what kind of a security risk does the wifi poses when the user is the one who connects it to his own home wifi, better worry for your home devices then. Also, when in test mode you can clearly see wifi is turned on and 2 wifi networks are pre saved and locked.
Does this mean Halo is delayed from “by August” to “by August end”? Keep cooking, I’m going to be hoping for visor options ranging from UV/Tinted Visors, Pinlock Visors etc (even though it apparently isn’t user-replacable…)
I hope you’re able to disclose most, if not all the stats collected during a ride, perhaps in a sub-menu. Would be somewhat of a win to our privacy, knowing the data collected is ‘returned’ back to us.
Yah that makes sense, but just if its possible to keep it on user if they prefer small boosts over consistancy
I dont see that as an issue in Gen 3 thanks to active cooling my fan barely turns on with a pillion at full throttle on warp but I can surely feel scooter holding back after hitting 90kmph on speedo and theres just so much power remaining that it used to pull for 90kmph.
