• When is inter-city trip planner coming? What factors are taken into account for inter-city trips, and can you leverage Smart Eco to ensure longer intercity trips remain possible?

Hey Sirishant! Inter City Trip Planner is already live with the new revamped mobile app! Try it out and share your feedback.

Our algorithms take into account a bunch of variables like ride modes, range, scooter model etc. Using smart eco can always extend your rides but we would love for you to actively use other modes as well. Of course some of the long distance inter city trip planners will depend on presence of Ather Grid Chargers but we would love to have feedback on what kind of inter city trips are today not possible so that we get our Grids installed there.

AtherStack 6 is going to provide following new product experiences to our customers:

1. All new redesigned and intuitive Ather App This is already live and available to all customers. Please share as much feedback as you can by using the beta feedback form available in “Account” section. Your suggestions help us to improve the app further and make it more useful.

2. Improved, Seamless Bluetooth Connectivity and associated in ride stay connected experiences - WhatsApp on Dashboard, Call decline with message These will start rolling out to 450 and Rizta customers in the first week of August

3. Enhanced remote tracking of Ather for you and your loved ones - Live Location Sharing, Alexa based tracking and Ping my Scooter These will start rolling out to all customers in the first week of September

Gen 3 users will soon get an update enabling coasting regen! Rest assured, the coasting regen is tailored for each mode differently, giving you the best ride experience!

Hey Syed! AtherStack 6 is a combination of new features & background performance upgrades. We are happy that all the features announced will be released by September and we have a bunch of other updates planned in the coming months which will enhance your dashboard and riding experience.

Will users get cruise control. If yes then which models will have it. And secondly will the range increase after we get coasting regen.

We’ve put cruise control on hold as it requires some significant HW upgrades. While the risk is extremely tiny, it’s not something we were willing to compromise on. Our priority is always rider safety and ensuring consistent performance throughout your ride. Even if cruise does come in future, it requires dedicated HW changes and hence would not be backwards compatible.

Coasting Regen should definitely contribute to more range increase on your vehicle but the actual range increase is dependent on multiple factors including and not limited to your riding mode, road conditions etc.

Thank God! Ather or @tarun have not started a bank. Otherwise they would restrict the account holders from withdrawing their own money, so that it will be safe.

• Is there a way to reduce syncing frequency when scooter is parked to reduce background battery drain? If the scooter has not moved (e.g., parked in my home parking), it still syncs every other minute for location info, and overnight battery drain is significant in many instances.

Hey Ritesh, We understand your concern about battery drain while your scooter is parked. While data syncing uses less battery when parked compared to riding, we’re always looking for ways to optimize performance. If you’re experiencing significant overnight battery drain even when parked, please let us know your scooter details. We’ll be happy to investigate further.

Just to clarify, the new app update had no impact on navigation. The issue was caused by a server side change with our maps provider. Due to this, Ather 450S is unable to communicate with the servers, resulting in complete loss of navigation on these models. We were aware of the same and are working with our maps provider to get it resolved as soon as possible.

Please bring a map view of neighborhood chargers also. Currently it only shows list nearby after entering an address in the map.

That’s a fair point, Ritesh! You’re right, a map view for nearby charging stations would be helpful! It will be difficult to show all neighbourhood chargers on a map view as some chargers have restricted access in housing and office complexes. But if you need to check if we are available at your neighbourhood, its as easy as searching the name of your tech park or building complex.

Is google offline map is available in Atherstack 6 if not any plan in future and when can expect ?

Thanks a lot Balaakumar for bringing this forth. We understand the importance of having navigation even in areas with limited or no network connectivity. While Google offline maps aren’t currently integrated with AtherStack 6, we hear you loud and clear.

We’re actively working on an internal solution to provide offline maps for a seamless riding experience, especially in low-network areas.

We can’t provide a specific timeline yet, but stay tuned for updates!

Whats so special with Atherstack 6, that you guys had to move to the next number series. Is there a major rework? Why not Atherstack 5.13?

Hey Ibrahim, We are rolling out an improved and much more reliable bluetooth connectivity experience to help you manage your calls or enjoy music while riding. AtherStack 6 will also make your in-ride connectivity more useful by providing you ability to read WhatsApp messages on Dashboard (of course, not while the vehicle is moving) and ability to Call decline with message for those important calls that you can’t ignore / accept / reject.

In addition, there is an all new redesigned and intuitive Ather App - it comes with a new companion widget on your home screen that understands yours and your vehicle needs to suggest you the next best action. In addition, we have improved overall in-app navigation experience so that you are all set to go the moment you key in - check out the new trip planner experience. And of course, ride stories now comes in a brand new Avatar - with many new interesting insights about your rides along with a special new addition of monthly highlights that you can check at the end of first week of every new month!

And of course, enhanced remote tracking of Ather for you and your loved ones - Live Location Sharing, Alexa based tracking and Ping my Scooter will make your Ather much more accessible than it is today.

So yes, AtherStack 6 is bringing out a lot of new major updates, fixes and new features to your scooter and hence the new number series

It’s not the response that we expect for not providing the data. Hope you got my anology.

I understand the load on your system load. But

• you use user’s personal data to improve your products, so that you can make more money
• getting money from users by selling Ather connect.

It’s a right for any user to ask about their personal data you collect and get it whenever it is asked as per Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

Hey @dhruvante! both Halo & Halo bit are tightly integrated with Atherstack 6 and will make use of the improvements of the new bluetooth flow on the app.

• What happened to Ather Labs?

We love our Ather Labs as much as our innovative users, Dhruvant! Thanks for bringing this up. It did help us experiment in our early stages with exciting new experiences to users much faster - remember SmartEco and Trip Planner as a few success stories of Ather labs! While we do have a lot of experiences in the pipeline, Ather labs will also get an upgrade to cater to the much larger base of users we have now, and incorporate better experiences in areas like capturing user feedback (140 character limit :)), hold on tight!

AFAIK the wifi hardware is present in all scooters
