So all replacement of parts will be charged with labour(only way to avoid it is having an extremely good service team that doesn’t charge you:rare). But any and all servicing will not incur any charges not even labour or taxes it’s covered under Ather service pack(services like washing is chargeable tho.)
Just complicated mess.
These service and labor charges keep the author down
These all in initial stage… Going forward great deals are there… In service
In side stand link and main link
You have quite a bit life left. But why this question?
It’s fresh as new no issue.
Not more than 1k KMs
I went to service for chu chu noise from the scooter. I suspected bearing but they kept insisting its just brakes worn out and my discs will break soon. ![]()
If it were brakes, it should be only audible when I use brakes right? This is audible anytime the tyre moves
Its 9500km old😅 I use brakes very infrequently so I feel I should have some life left.
How do you gauge?
I am running 10.8k kms on odo and the brake pads seem to have about 40-50% life remaining. ![]()
I do use it roughly sometimes, but always used the brakes only when needed. And most of the times applied regen.
Front brakes, from the front of the scooter. The disc has scratches like usual but its still smooth to touch, the scratches can be felt only using my nail
Yup, this is how I also expect mine to be as well. Thats why I’m doubting the service guys.
I had weird sound coming from the brakes at around 9000 kms but it stopped after 9100, so I think that was probably just debris
Your front disc pads are worn out completely. No doubt on that. But you have plenty of brake pad life left in rear.
Usually Service Team Recommended me to Change at this Stage saying 1-2 K KMs life left
I say let it run and Yeah After around 2 2.5 k KMs , It will completely worn out
So I say it in Experience But Check at SC Once. Ask them to Remove and Check the MM Left
Even after 2k You may use it but Disc Rotar will get Scoring
How much MM is good or bad can you explain?.
I guess another 3000-4000 kms
