Why everyone is confused about chargers so much. As already said; I have confirmed this with Ather Experience center, Nawada, Delhi. If you buy 450x pro, you will get a 750watt charger at NO EXTRA COST (price included in pro pack charges) and if you buy 450x then you will get 250watt charger. That’s it. If you are getting some other deal then raise voice, don’t get confused. @switchtoshankar

Pro pack gives you access to buy…
Just as a gate will be opened for you to walk and spend again to buy another charger. Instead… Why not have a swap option to hand over the old portable charger and take the fast home charger for a fraction of the total cost.
Either ways… It would be 4 hours of fast charging.

Seems like Ather is currently interested in making money. They are not fixing the software problems yet. On other hand ola giving so many features. And Ather can’t handle handfull of the features that they have given. Google maps they have jst rushed to give the customers. It’s totally useless mounting a phone and using google maps works much smoother then thier inbuilt google maps.

The 750W charger is only given as an offer on this month until they scale up the 250W charger manufacturing. As per their FAQ page, you have option to buy a separate fast charger along with the Pro pack. Hope this clears things up.

Looks like they are intentionally making things complex. They are saying you get a free personal charger included in the price. But they haven’t mentioned anywhere if it is a Dot/Portable charger.
I think you are not getting this, " Pro pack gives you access to buy a fast charger" means the cost of fast charger is included in pro pack, you don’t have to buy it separately. Let me explain it one last time. Earlier the connect pro subscription for 1 yr costs 2400. Therefore for 3 years it costs 7200. And pro pack alone costs 30,000 approx. What do you think this 30,000-7200=22,800 would be for. It incorporate cost of charger, grid access, software enable features (note: hardware of 450x and 450x pro is same)

Why can’t they just state “Pro pack includes the fast charger” instead? It clearly states that it provides access to buy a fast charger and not “Provides access to a fast charger” which implies that it needs to be bought additionally.

You are trying to help. But the problem is “Pro pack gives you access to buy a fast charge” is so confusing. You can interpret in many ways.
Ather can just tell whether fast charger is bundled with Pro pack or not

Hello Guys,
I’ve booked Ather 450x pro pack model today in Hyderabad. As per the executive, the 750 watts dot charger( which will be installed by Ather executives at a cost of 2100) is only available for bookings done in April Month. She also showed me the Excel which was shared in the meeting.
Also, the cost of portable charger is around 13k in Hyderabad which is like an accessory and not part of the pack.
I’ll share more details once I’ve the vehicle. It is scheduled for next week delivery.

Here is my opinion on the launch

Removing park assist is super lame unless it is a motor hardware limitation which is saving substantial costs.

The charging times are simply too slow. If you put the scooter on charger at 9pm and it can’t even charge to 80% by 8am next day then it’s basically still the same old 450plus when it comes to range. The charging time to 80 and 100% both need to be cut by ~2hours

Only warp on base 450x? rip new buyers, many of whom will be new riders. Need atleast one noob mode because warp is simply too fast! Think about the children, Tarun

Ather, you have had like three major announcements now, how do you guys keep having such major “communication issues”? The dealerships are almost always clueless. You can surely learn from TVS in this regard. When they launched the updated iQube last year, they basically paused deliveries for a month and had a smooth transition to the new version for all customers with a existing booking.

The path to getting people to buy the pro pack isn’t by dumbing down the vanilla model into oblivion but by accelerating. I think it’s about time the pro pack 450x got some new features and a upgrade from Snapdragon 212

Some doubts, do the owners of Ather 450x with pro pack
1.Have to pay for grid charging post 30 april or it is also free for 3 years like connect pro?
2.Pro pack of 30000 includes TPMS or have to purchase seperately?
