Guess Ritza is having a lot of issues as it’s a new Ather product. It’s better to buy a stable product like Ather 450 series. Try and ask the dealer if they can change it for you if you have recently purchased it.

Hey guys. Recently got my Rizta 3.7KWh variant.

I have updated the scooter to 30.6.00-202432

I am now able to connect my phone to the scooter and am able to use the WhatsApp & call functionality.

I am unable to see the ‘Ping my scooter’ function on my Ather App for Android tho. Can someone help, please ?

Also, wanted to show this off -

That’s 170KM of range (47 x 3.7), lol. Well, I do know that this is just a one-off ride stat and its pretty tough to have such rides.

Forgive my ignorance, how can I check the stack version on my scooter? My Rizta is just 2 week old think it’s upto date though.

There’s an option on the dashboard, you’ll find the software version under vehicle details

When you turn the scooter on → open control panel → vehicle details (3rd panel) → you should see it in the window on the right side of the screen

Anyone who recently got their Rizta, congratulations!

I am sharing something on here from my own experience. I am not sure how legit it could be but thought of doing so.

When you get your scooter, you will get a few software updates on it. If you face an issue where even after turning the key ‘off’, the update doesn’t proceed, just restart the scooter (press both brake levers + the motor start button for 7 to 10s).

Once the scooter reboots, you will see that the update isn’t showing up anymore, that’s normal. To get the update, this has worked for me, both times (yeah, I got 2 updates). You need to plug in the charger for some time and once you remove it, you will see that an update has been downloaded. You can proceed to install it then.

This has worked for me so thought of sharing, might be a one-off case, so no guaratees that this works.

Update:

Just before Diwali, after waiting a week and hoping to get the bike back on time, I got a call from the service center. They mentioned that they needed to take my bike to another service center in Yelahanka, about 20 km away, for a display replacement, and asked for my consent to drive it there. They assured me it would be ready the same day, right before Diwali, so I agreed.

However, that night, they called back saying the replacement wasn’t completed and that they’d need to keep the bike until Monday to finish the job. Frustrated but without much choice, I asked to take the bike back for Diwali so I could have it for Pooja and other activities. They handed it over, and I returned it on Monday, expecting a same-day fix.

Now, after further delays, they told me they received approval for a completely new display replacement, but they’re waiting for stock to arrive, and it would take another three days—hopefully, I’ll get an update today. Meanwhile, I raised a complaint on Twitter, but I only get calls asking me for updates instead of the support team directly coordinating with the service center to give me answers. It’s been quite an ordeal.

I’ll update on any further progress.

Just checked the dashboard, it’s Ather stack V6.0, I think there’s I need to drop by the service centre again.

Isn’t that the latest version ? Not sure. Are you not getting OTA updates ?

Yes , I’m facing the same problem. My Rizta’s autohold didn’t work at slop and rolled back. But fir the same slop it didn’t rolled forward. Means autohold woking for forward slop not backward slop.

And yes Ather should fix this on priority basis as it’s a very useful feature. And i think cruise control option should be there.

Sorry to disappoint you but Cruise control not coming in near future.

Guys, need help. I haven’t got the number plate yet, but in my Ather app & dashboard, I see a registration no. When checking the owner details of the same via vehicle info app or so, I see the owner being someone else & the scooter is also some Honda Activa or something, and not Rizta. Find it very wierd.
