Hey folks!

Congratulations on bringing home your all-new Ather Rizta, and welcome to the family! We hope your rides will be comfortable and enjoyable with this new family member.

Heads up though, we’re fine-tuning the Bluetooth and Atherstack functionality for a smoother and faster experience. This means a few features on your Rizta will be rolled out in two phases through a software update.

Phase 1 Bluetooth Update:

  • TPMS
  • Call and Music Control
  • WhatsApp on Dash

By 2nd week of August 2024.

Phase 2 Atherstack Update:

  • Live Location Sharing
  • Ping My Scooter
  • Alexa

By 2nd week of September 2024

All owners will be notified once the update is out, until then do share your experience with your Rizta with us! :slight_smile:

Issues facing with the Rizta from 21 days of riding experience

  • Battery Performance:
  • Sudden Percentage Drop: Battery level drops from 100% to 98% within 1 hour, without ride.
  • Range Accuracy: Inconsistent range readings; drops suddenly at some times.
  • Throttle and Braking Issues:
  • Throttle Response: Scooter does not slow down after releasing the throttle; continues at 41 kmph.
  • Magic Twist Function: Non-functional when throttle issue occurs; requires hard braking to decelerate, i know magic twist is not replace of breaks.
  • Display and Heating:
  • Overheating: Display screen becomes hot after riding for approximately 6 km.
  • Motor and Battery Temp Monitoring: No current feature to monitor motor and battery temperature on the dashboard.
  • Tire Pressure:
  • Front Tire Pressure: Pressure drops below 30 psi within 2 days of riding.
  • Handlebar and Accessories:
  • Handlebar Handling: Handlebar feels heavy; not smooth in cornering.
  • Floor Mat: Floor mat not provided; scooter being used without it.
  • App and Connectivity:
  • Real-Time Updates: App does not provide real-time updates; shows trip as in progress even after completion; updates delay by 1-2 hours.
  • Accessories and Additional Features:
  • Accessory Availability: Request for accessories to be made available in showrooms. Some issue will update soon

I think if issue is with software then it can be fixed but if it is Hardware then I don’t think so Ather would be able to fix it.

Got Rizta Delivery yesterday… Scooter is too good to ride awesome experience

Good update… TFS. I have slightly different experience with 6 days riding Rizta Z.

  1. No issues with battery % drop and range sudden change.
  2. I can see coasting regen working well but magic twist not working or less working.
  3. Breaks seems very feeble compared to my 450x. One reason could be rear drum break. I will go to SC and ask them to adjust breaking.
  4. No issues with display heating as such.
  5. No issue with tire pressure dropping significantly
  6. I was able to pick accessories ( Frunk, side step, Storage Organizer and duo mount) during delivery from IBC Knowledge park. Waiting for Floormat, TPMS and charger connectors (USB C and wireless)
  7. App sync mostly happens on time but sometime it takes couple of hours when bike is off. Not sure if Athers reduced the sync frequency to reduce idle battery drain.
  8. Got beta apps ( 10.1.0) for both Android and IOS. Waiting for AtherStack 6 update on Rizta
  9. I do get AutoHold disabled alert on dashboard after riding even 15 mins at higher speeds. This never happened with 450x. May be Rizta has inferior motor cooling than 450x

Also, when are we going to recieve the accessories for Ather Rizta, it’s been almost 2 months that I have bought Rizta but still no accessories. It’s quite a bummer if you ask me!

That percentage and range drop is a real problem. Just start riding at 100% and it drops to 98 for no reason. Mine is just a week old. It has hardly given me 89-90km range on eco mode

Brakes are feeble yes. I’ll visit service centre for that.

Display heating, yes faced it. But it works fine.

The app works fine for me.

But Two manufacturing issues I am facing is… the boot lock malfunctioning. I called up the store, they suggested to press the seat even when unlocking. A flapping sound near the belt/ rear wheel. Will get it checked qt service centre ASAP

@smridhi.kalati Hope Rizta owners are gettin AS6 update today/tomorrow which will enable phase 1 features. These were supposed to come in 2nd week of August and we are at fag end of Aug 2nd week :slight_smile:

You guys must be new to Ather :smiling_face_with_tear:, if they said August 2nd week, add 30 days and expect it to be done by September 1st week.

I’m also facing throttle issues in my new rizta z ,its not slowing down after releasing the throttle.

Just got my rizta z today, observed some lag in the coasting regen. At first it does not work when the throttle is released, then suddenly regen starts and then again it stops, then starts again. All this with the throttle off. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thr are two regens in Rizta, Coasting regen and Twist… you may turn off coasting regen and then check this behavior. Hope it helps.
