Hi guys, anyone installed a tyre hugger? I think I need one because the tyre sprays dirt all over the pillion (wife 🥲). Kinda sucks.

Strange, even with the mudguard at back? Mine is the worst during rains. I have a trail of mud right uptil the back of my helmet.

I have seen generic tyre huggers online… you may need to try them if they fit!

U can use normal rubber mudflap to avoid splashes …

15 - Paddock stand :

Debate able, but it helps a lot where I park and gives me much better access when

• I wash the scooter
• fill air in the back wheel
• creates marginally more space in the area where working space is required to do other house chores.

Overall a great thing if you face the same problems as I do.

Cons :

• risky, EACH time to put the scooter on the stand single handedly. I’m able to manage but heck, why would you complicate just putting the side stand daily

Oh I for sure do, cause the area where my scooter gets parked doesn’t have so much space for this leaning tower of pisa

Even in public areas, I need to find a generous spot so that people don’t mistakenly damage the scooter while taking out theirs

I see a lot of recent theft happening when the watchman goes out of town. It’s a flat of 10 owners and the parking area is usually monitored. I have just got an ather. Does using a bike disc lock work in ather.

@abhishek.balaji will this also be an issue for the warranty. Can these be used for anti theft purposes

Smart Helmet:

There is some uncertainty over new ISI regulations that are being enforced from June 1st, 2021. We are continuing work on the concept, but changes have to be made based on the clarity that we get. We will have more information regarding this in the next couple of months

I used a jack to clean the front tyre and disk pads, rear paddock is useful to clean the belt and do a water wash, I find paddock useful to do a weekly maintenance other than that nothing much, I do belt adjustment and tyre change only from Ather Service Centre
