174xx 12th evening made payment
Finally got SMS this morning with registration number. Tried to download RC but it says name does not match with AADHAR, contact RTO 
Took delivery of my Flight today , Delivery process was very smooth and was explained each and every features of the vehicle… Enjoyed the ride of 17 kms back home.

I really respect the proactiveness of Akhil and Rehan for following up on my order transfer, special shoutout to Rehan who updated me back over the phone on the transfer success. Thank you Siddharth on initiating the transfer request.

- 13-Feb : Transfer initiated
- 14-Feb : Payment Window opened (Literally fell in love with my Peace Rover) when I heard it from @harshapalimaru
- 14-Feb : Called Ather CS to expedite the same since the payment window opened (Akhil’s support)
- 17-Feb 10:06 AM : Called Ather CS to check the status (Rehan’s support)
- 17-Feb 11:56 AM : Got call from Rehan, proactively informing transfer success and Akhil’s support in follow up.
Will be making the payment on Wednesday because of Mom’s 
spiritual instructions

I sincerely appreciate the gesture by Ather Energy to take my signature on Form-20 for registration of Ather-450 by deputing a representative to my residence. This saved me 3.5 hours of my Sunday. Now waiting for my “White Lily”. Thanks Ather.

Checked this with the team, and looks like the information is correct from our portal. Do wait for a couple of days for the details to reflect on the RTO portal, to download your RC card.
TL;DR- Expectations from regular online shopping experiences transfer to the online purchase of a two-wheeler leading to impatience
There is one thing I have realised, someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
A lot of people buy things online, on Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket among other sites, the instant gratification that one gets from online purchasing along with the high level of predictability of delivery time is being transferred to the experience of buying a two-wheeler online. Since Ather is still rather new and yet to scale up capacity, delivery time is not highly predictable like the standard online shopping experience combined with many variables such as people paying using various methods, not paying, deferring payments, loan, lease and upfront payment timelines are very different and RTO procedures.
Making deliveries predictable may take some more time, scaling up production with the Hosur plant and experience in the field I guess. Till then, early adopters will have the pay the price of being early adopters and wait patiently I guess.

After payment how many days they take to delivery
10 to 15 days is what i have seen people posting around the forum.

Payment window opened Friday evening and I finished payment and insurance yesterday morning. How many days does the dot installation take usually? In the status it says 4-5 days for delivery.
After payment it went to registration. After you got registration. You will get high security number plate. Then only delivery. It takes minimum 10 days after registration
Isn’t 10 days too long for physical delivery after registration? All this because of high security number plate. Who issues it? Is it RTO?
You r lucky If they r taking only 10 days … Generally they takes much more …
It will take roughly 13-15 working days post full payment to get the delivery. After registration, we have to wait for the number to be alloted, the notification from the RTO, printing of the HSRP, and final quality checks. Once your full payment is done, your Dot is shipped as well, if you choose to get self installed.
Do note that the timelines could vary between people depending on the mode of payment, RTO preference, insurance purchase, etc.
My payment done RTO done but still DOT not shipped or no information. Called CC they dont have information. Can you confirm DOT status ( I took self instalation)
Payment done on 14th evening. RTO - pending. Insurance Policy generated with chassis number on 18th afternoon. Received official invoice - 18th afternoon. DOT installation scheduled for 22nd morning.
I will charge my mobile phone using DOT until 450 arrives at home.
