They literally pulled a GEN 1 scooter to display

arvind_nair · March 10, 2023, 6:11am

Same question to Gen1 attenders. Did any of you have issues getting the new seat? I don’t remember Tarun saying it was specific to any model.

power_light2000 · March 10, 2023, 6:27am

Gen 1.5, too same case, guess they did not account for that and now maybe the sensor will get replaced or we won’t get the new seats.

chef.arun7 · March 18, 2023, 4:31am

Hey Buddy , Gen 1 and 1.5 doesn’t Support the New Seat I heard from a 1.5 Gen Mate Mr.Vasanth @tpav.vasanth

Due to some mismatch in the Locking Mechanism

power_light2000 · March 18, 2023, 11:18am

It’s not a locking issue, since the placement of the lock never changed from gen 1 to gen 3.1, probably they would be using the same lock design.

It’s the storage Light which they have cheaped out from reed switch to a mechanical switch, which in turn lets the boot light to stay on.

chef.arun7 · March 18, 2023, 1:04pm

Yeah , Thats what i said Locking Issue.

@tpav.vasanth 450 Gen 1.5 faced this issue when we were in ASC
