Then us Gen2 users especially series 1 were longest supported. We had custom dashboard board theme for us at least and got all latest updates features for at least 1 year unlike gen 3 & gen 3.1 users.

worse part is I havent seen a single gen 4 450x or 450s on road in my town that means so many people are still waiting for delivery.My town is crowded the Gen3 450x since showroom opened (the showroom has gen 4 for demo for past couple months)

If the event is planned for Jan delivery is expected to be starting from Feb. That will mean lot more people are gonna be disappointed in next 3 months.

Seems like Magic Twist was able to be retro-fitted to the older 450X’s (450 exes?). Hope this is a sign of things to come.

It’s same motor control just a new throttle which goes 15° backwards compared with 5° for us.
Rest be assured. We are never getting it.

PPL did the the regen due to some glitch (it was a strong regen that’s what I have head so far)
It was taken away.
There was a slide where it showed Magictwist is optional. So many there might be a option to retrofit
In the usual Ather fashion, I expect the 450s, 450x and APEX will continue to share the same hardware. Also probably why they all will be getting the same belt cover. (Of course the only exceptions are the body panels)
I wonder if they’ll share the throttle ass as well?

I think it was to indicate that it can be turned off and is not permenantly enabled in riding experince so you wont brake with motor each time you try to regen

Do we have any motor law knowing person here in community? I kinda feel like these homologation stuff is completely made up. And it’s not like gov is going to hunt Ather down for providing safety feature .
It’s just some silly management person’s doing to make newer model feel different but in fact it’s just a software update and extra buttons.

Complete onboard with you on this. I also feel, how will you punish someone for saving someone’s lives? Do they also list all the existing bugs while applying for PLI (pardon me for my lack of knowledge if they do it in PLI) or selling scooters?

Maybe its the trauma from the charger refund fiasco that haunts these guys… it was a big blow. They probably wouldn’t want to risk it again.

Ethically speaking, something that prevents the manufacturers from deploying additional safety features should not be a rule in the 1st place. They should be rewarded instead
