This is indeed a welcome move . In Mysore i see a lot of people misuse the charger and very often none of them are available to those who really need to charge. Hopefully along with the price the availability will also get better.

In the last update company is playing with mind they’re deliberately slow down the charging speed I have noticed till 70% it’s was like 1.5 minutes for 1 % & above it it’s slow down the speed from 75 % to 80 % it’s taking more than 5 min for 1% increase so that means 25 bucks for next 5 % wtf is this they’re seriously playing with the customers.
Charging still free accordingly its pro pack and without pro pack but company charges it should be nominal rate which match home charging cost or should be accordingly unit consume and unit should be like 10 or 7 or 5 rs per unit and charged according or deduct from wallet
Company bad idea 
or tricky for consumers far away its fast charging

I had posted these nos couple of days back before the 202328 update
Post the update, these are the nos after charging today.
25-66% - Around 31 mins 66-70% - 5.5 mins 70-75% - 11 mins 76-80% (including trickle) - 22.5 mins
25-80% - 1 hour 10 mins
This is the 2nd time I have encountered these speeds. So yes, the charging speed has indeed decreased. I guess this is done to discourage charging beyond a certain % so that only the in emergency situations would the rider spend 40 mins charging from 65-80%.

Just reduce to ₹0.50paise per min + gst It would be around ₹45 per complete charge. Where in home it take upto ₹25 rupee in home (or free for Karnataka people as per the guarantee scheme from government) no one will charge on your grid. Therefore ₹20 of profit is more than enough for today and paid extra for fast charging this is more affordable and would be good move compred to ₹1/min +GST which would be 4 times more than charging in home which you get a profit of more than ₹50 on one complete charge that would be some crazy thing you have been doing please review it …

Ok to reduce crowd the steps taken is justified but the main concern here is few of your charging points are in private parking. So how do you justify the pricing ?? The user pays for parking as well as the charging ?? Dont you think its huge pay for the customer ?? Ok if you saying gen 1 and 1.5 still gets free why dont you provide gen 2 too as people owned it and as a special thing in gen 2 you guys offered special color too !!! Making people to use home chargers is really appreciated but please think about private parking chargers so that it wont be hectic for customers for paying parking as well as charging amount too

grid charging is never locked, anybody can pull the charger out from your scooter

Have seen the Ather charging points always busy with food delivery agents, it was a huge pain finding a free charging station all these days. This monetary addition to charging helps avoid people simply blocking the charger from others. I do see that the pricing is high and this will ensure food delivery agents blocking all the public chargers. Ive never used a public charger in Mysore till now because of this issue.

Hello, I just bought Ather yesterday and now the app shows that I hv to pay for fast charging from aug 1. Atleast the new users should get a min of 5months of Ather grid for free

I really thought they will price this at some reasonable charge but now they have revealed the price. It’s actually too expensive and it make me feel i bought the wrong EV.

If we see here, first Ather grids are for only emergency condition if you feel that your scooter won’t reach your destination and in that we should charge scooter upto percentage, were it would enough to go were you want.Not like ,that I will charge it 70-100%,No matter what.Again as issue said by person of crowding.Crowding happen because of this attitude only.Now as they have to pay for charging people will charge. There scooter upto required percentage and crowding will be less.Now, about charge money’₹1+GST IS TOO MUCH YARR EVEN IF ITS ONE 1 RUPPEE INCLUDING GST,ITS STILL GOOD AND YOU SHOULD CHARGE US IN WATT/MINUTE NOT IN TIME’

I bought just one month back and now this is not at all fair, instead you can allow users to charge free minimal number of times in a month that will be better.
