Great and happy to hear. I had been to same place couple of times with a pillion rider and I could come back with around 20KM still left. What is shown in dashboard is very reliable. For sure, range anxiety wanes of over the period of time.
You can use Patelâs Inn
We cannot use ur ranges as reference. As you are at different level
I have travelled in all the directions in 100km range utilising nearby ather public charging. In my openion if ather establish new charging points on major roads 40km away from mejestic will help to commute 150km. Hoskote, hosur or nearby, art of living, Ramnagar, tavarekere on Magadi Road, Nelamangala, Doddaballapur, devanahalli etc.
hey, these days i am not that stingy as I was âŚ
Ather Grid in Chennai doesnât seem to be expanding much. Seems stuck at 8 locations since the launch of the 450. South Chennai seems very poorly served by Ather Grid. The model of establishing Ather Grid charge points is not helping it seems. If I may suggest Ather should tie up with the Petroleum majors and put up Ather Grid charging points in as many fuel stations as possible in the cities they are expanding to. I see the GoI ramping up itâs efforts http://bit.ly/38nrbwS for EV infrastructure and Ather should make use of the same to serve their customers.
There are 10 grid points today.
Hereâs the scrnsht of what shows on my app
How can we Ather owners levarage the results if any of this http://bit.ly/2UGDZud? Why donât EV vehicle manufacturers standardise their charge ports?
Theres one at Kolathur (above Anna Nagar) and ECR- Neelankarai (below right) for which you need to scroll the map.
At present, since the vehicle is being used point to point the number of Ather Grid points is not an issue. But for any other kind of use, it will have to be planned such that we are not caught out without charge.
But unfortunately we will not be able to use any of this for Ather. @abhishek.balaji. The charging sockets of Ather doesnât match with EESL standards???
If itâs an AC socket, you can use a portable charger and an adapter to charge. It doesnât support fast DC charging at these points, since the fast charging points are meant for 4 wheelers, which run on a different voltage platform.
Do you believe Ac Sockets will be there for public usage with metered facility. I donât think soâŚ
All BESCOM outlets have at least one 16a industrial outlet (like the one e2o uses) in Bengaluru. You can quickly DIY a adaptor for about INR250-300.
@abhishek.balaji Any updates on new Grid additions in Blore?
Time to increase the points across city!
Yep, these are the upcoming locations in Bangalore over the next month and a half:
- Blue Tokai - Koramangala
- Game Changer - Yelahanka
- Together Hub - Bellandur
- Go Native - HSR
when will Chennai get new locations?
Waiting for more PeakBengaluru memes once the point is up and running here.
Finally one in the Outer ring roadâŚ
So far, for people travelling between Sarjapur Signal to Hebbal, there is nothing on the way unless you take a detour to Whitefield or HSR.
