Atherstack 5 screen looks new did you noticed any major changes in the Ather Software?

Snapdragon 212 Quadcore 1.3Ghz. 16GB. 2GB. Android Open Source OS (AOSP) is used in Ather stack. Don’t expect more and disappointed yourself. Nokia 2 uses the same chipset which is inexpensive one. The same uses Ather. Unless they replace the dashboard with Qualcomm or high speed processor. The suggession given and expecting some features from Ather owners that Team will do something great upgrade are all vain.

Ather really cooked a new boot up sequence in last update of stack 5 and kept gen 2 owners in question if they got an update with some big issue by not giving 5.12 to gen3+ for weeks

In spite of having rebooted twice no network in Ather since evening

The update broke my scooter fr! It was on charge when it started updating, since then, it is saying remove charger to update, but nothing happens on removing the charger. Tried hard rebooting but that also did not work.
Service center told me to wait till tomorrow morning, they will try to reboot it remotely otherwise I have to call RSA and get it towed to the nearest SC

Reboot the dashboard by holding the combination of both the brakes and the power on switch until the Ather logo appears.

Try to Shutdown and Restart, It worked for Most Customers- from Our WhatsApp Groups.

Does 5.12 now enable Optimised Charging automatically if charging past 6 PM, even if it was put to charge before 6? I put my Whee for charge around 3:30, and checking it now, it has charged to 51% and stopped as “Charging Done”.
Before, it used to continue charging till 100% around 8PM even though my Optimised Charging was ON.
If they changed the behavior to allow this, then it’s a huge W. I have been wanting this as otherwise I used to wait till 6 and then put for charge even if I was at 1%, rendering the scooter useless for hours

Yeah, Whenever Data goes off in Vehicle

Normal Reset - Holding Both Brakes + Self Switch 10 Seconds Then Leave till the Screen On

Hard Reset - Same Action But Hold all 45-50 Secs till the Screen On

Shutdown from Settings
If The Vehicle has Data Signal,
Then Check for App Update or Clear Cache or Uninstall and Install 
99% of the Time will Work 
Whenever You do Manual Reset using Break + Self Switch. Remember to engage the Side Stand to Prevent Mistake Throttle while Vehicle Rebooting

For some reason after the update to 5.12, I’m now able to change the mode on the fly, only from Smart Eco to Ride mode though. I can’t say if it’s a glitch or an update that was implemented deliberately but Ather forgot to write in their software release note . Could any of you check and let me know.
