Ather Rizta | From our family to yours

you are going at good speed but am guessing average below 30kmph

with that much weight on board its performing fine tbh as same 2.9kw 450x in eco also gives 90km true range still try filling 33 psi nitrogen in both tyres and test the range again

expect more in winters,my 3.7kw 450x drops 4-5% on average

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well. Initially, I had booked a 2.9 kWh electric scooter, but I decided to upgrade to a 3.7 kWh model, and here’s why.

My weight is around 120 kg, and when carrying a pillion, the total weight on the scooter is around 200 kg. I realized that the initial choice would not provide sufficient range for my daily commute of around 50 km, especially if I needed to make a sudden round trip to Southern Mumbai from Thane. Therefore, I made the decision to upgrade, and the Rizta 3.7 model is now offering a range of 100-105 km in Smart Eco mode and 90 km in Zip mode, which suits the weight it has to bear. I am satisfied with its performance; I particularly like the Zip mode as it matches the agility of any traditional gas-powered scooter. The Smart Eco mode could be improved, but it’s sufficient for short trips. I would rate the performance 4 out of 5.

On the other hand, I’m disappointed with the build quality, especially considering the brand. The buttons and plastics feel lower in quality than expected, and the lock is problematic. It doesn’t always secure the boot properly, and there are issues with opening the locked handle. I would rate the build and overall quality 2 out of 5.

Overall, I would give it a 3 out of 5. While I have no complaints about the performance, I believe the build quality does not meet the expected standards for the price I paid (₹1,78,000/-). I hope the Ather addresses these issues.

Thank you so much for all your answers. I think my scooter is doing well. Are you running your scooter in costing regeneration all the time ON?

After turning the rizta on and powering it up, the motor does not start for the first few seconds. The throttle only responds after about 5 or 6 seconds of starting the scooter. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Rizta seat is wide but cushion is not upto the mark… it has to be changed. It is killing the comfort of big seat.

I recently purchased an Ather Rizta scooter that has the Atherstack 6 update installed. However, I am experiencing issues with the Bluetooth connectivity on the scooter. Despite having the most recent version of the Ather app on my phone, it is unable to establish a connection with the scooter.

Yes. They have recently enabled the Bluetooth feature on the latest version of the mobile app. However looks like the dashboard on the Scooter is yet to be updated. I’m unable to turn on the Bluetooth on the scooter.

The default version of AS6 on Rizta is with bluetooth disabled. Wait for AS6 update being pushed to users. Once you have updated AS6 and app (10.1.0) you will be able to connect bluetooth.

Hello All, I baught Rizta Z 2.9 last month, completing one month today.

Bluetooth and other features like ping my scooter and whatsapp notification were not present when I took the delivery. Initially during the test ride it was available but just before delivery they pushed the Atherstack 30.3.00-202425 update deisabling the bluetooth related features.

Just yesterday at around 10 PM I recieved the notification and checked the scooter around 1 AM but didn’t see any popup or option to update and another at 2 AM. Don’t know how these update works.

Will be checking in 10-15 mins again, after completing my shift.

Go to scooter info settings where they show version number. Thr should be an option to update , if AS6 is already downloaded on your dashboard.

Thank you for the reply. Got the update earlier this evening installed it just now.

I think the may be it was because the scooter was not charged that’s why update didn’t start.charged it in the evening and once it crossed 40-50% charge I got the notification again.

My scooter’s software got updated yesterday. However with this new update, my ‘park assist’ feature is not working! Looks like some issue as per customer service and should get resolved in the next few days. Anyone else facing the same issue?
