Anyone facing rear suspension issue in Rizta z 2.9? My Rizta Z 2.9 rear mono shock up gone within 6 months, dropped vehicle at service centre, they said they need approval form Ather before replacement, raised ticket using app. Let’s see what happens. But very much disappointed with quality of the product
Could you please elaborate? I am experiencing difficulty like stiffness while driving alone but will check with Pillon.
Recently, while riding my scooter continuously for 40 km, the screen suddenly turned blue and restarted. Thankfully, the scooter didn’t stop.
On riding losing the suspension & having noise in Shock up & started back pain due to this
First batch of scooters are not proper they are just trials next generation will have improvements . Quality is bad of Ather belt will need to be changed in 26000 km both primary and secondary and they will charge u for both services and labour charge for belt replacement. Totally waste of money buying this scooters no quality at all.
Please tell me what the warranty is for all components inside scooter except the battery, such as the motor, VCU, and other electrical components? I am concerned because I use the scooter daily for 30-40 kms, which means I cannot recover my scooter money within the battery warranty of 5 years. My question is, what if the parts cost after the warranty over?
Is my question understandable? Could someone please respond?
Yesterday, I drove 80 km with a friend, using both Zip and Smart Eco modes. I was confident about the distance, but my Z version (2.9 kW) only delivered 76.5 km, which shocked me and damaged my reputation in front of my friend, who isn’t keen on EVs. He joked about towing my vehicle with his petrol scooter. I had 80 km of range once and remaining with 12% left in Smart Eco, but I switched to Zip on flyovers and used Smart Eco on flat roads. Does the difference in riding modes make the BMS unpredictable, and should I check my battery, or is it operating normally?
You were riding with a pillion, that affects the range. With a pillion you will obviously get lesser range since the scooter needs to use more energy and consumes more battery.
Also, use zip mode throughout( no need for smart ECo) and you will get better efficiency
Thanks for your response. So, you’re saying I’m getting good range with a pillion rider using the 2.9 kW battery, and there’s no need to worry about the BMS and battery performance. Ather should work on building trust in their battery technology through their activities and Q&A sessions for Ather commuters and the EV community. What do you think about that?
smart Eco range is 85 with Rizta 3.7Kwh model (actual range should be 125Km)
I visited service center twice and they said we have updated BMS and they did test drive for 60 km and showed the range still shows 65Km. But, this is not true. Test drive which they did for 60Km is not showing up for me in the app. Can some one say how much Km Rizta 3.7Kwh gives for you in smart eco and zip mode?
Yes, if it was showing you 80km range and you got 76km with a pillion, that’s pretty good. With pillion you will obviously get lesser range. There’s nothing wrong with the scooter of the battery.
Hi I am using Rizta z same Higher variant for last 4 months. I am getting 115 to 120 KM without pillion. With pillion it gives around 100. Always I use smart eco mode. Also I use magic twist for applying break and 97% case I don’t use breaks.
When my Rizta Z scooter is parked in a low-range area and Bluetooth is on, it does not sync any data to the mobile app or map. When the scooter moves to the mobile network range, that time only via Bluetooth i am able to send the map directions to the scooter. Is it normal behavior? When there is no mobile network, basic functionality should work, like charging percentage status sync, pinging my scooter, scooter theft alarm notification, etc.
None of these work if you have bad signal range on the scooter. All these features depend on the signal of the scooter.
Okay agreed then Bluetooth should work for maps right its unresponsive in low range when vehicle move to network area I receive the map notification on dashboard .
All features work only with good network reception. There are no features that are tied to Bluetooth except for phone call display and music control.
Detailed and accurate feedback. I would suggest you post this on Ather social media channels. From experience I dont think they are taking the forum feedback seriously(since it is internal feedback only). Also posting on social media will create awareness among the public. Thank yoh
