I’m curious why Ather isn’t collaborating with petrol pumps to install charging stations with their own power supply and meters. Right now, my Ather and I are in direct sunlight with no shelter.

Some java errors it is showing temporary solution is hard restart every-time we get maps issues .

I am facing too many issues with my Ather Rizta 2.9 Z with pro pack
- Stiff handle bar, sometimes just not able to control the vehicle.
- Stiff suspension, my family members dont want ro ride pillion as the suspension throws them off the seat over a speed breaker.
- Back seat entry / exit is so difficult as with the backrest noone can lift their legs over it. Again noone in family wants to travel pillion.
- Today I had my indicator turn button suddenly working as a joystick. When I turn the right turn switch, screen takes me to menu.
- Reverse button doesnt turn off after multiple attempts. Sometimes feel that I am stuck in the middle of the road with the reverse mode not turning off.
- Maps get stuck when trying to send from phone.
- Auto Hold is the funniest feature, it doesn’t engage when you need it the most. It gets engaged on a plain surface when I apply brakes.
- Didn’t switch on yesterday when raining after stopping and starting again.

Such a worst quality Ather is becoming day by day. Motor doesn’t have any Cooling Fans now and their R&D team claims fans are not required in Ather and do cost cutting.
Generally, motor temperature rises fast and disables autohold frequently.
Now when i ride my rizta with pillion rider for 10 kms, the motor heats up and cuts of acceleration for 30 seconds to 1 minute of time.
I need to wait for the throttle response on road managing traffic. Sometimes we need to stop for atleast 1 to 2 mins to get the throttle response. Earlier this problem used to come in February or march months after 15 kms, now it is coming after travelling for 10 kms.
Due to increase in summer temperatures, and the bike is not designed for sustaining our hot summers the throttle keeps cutting of and no response while travelling with pillion rider as it has some more pressure on motor rather than going single person ride.
If this is the case, then what would happen in mid of may month? Why do Ather say, its a family scooter without proper design to ride with pillion rider. If it is for a single person ride then why so it is named as fanily scooter.
Ather should investigate this at the earliest and take necessary action. Recall the scooters and atleast fix a cooling system for motor.
if Ather is not going to take any action on this, i will proceed legally by filing a case in consumer court.

Already complained regaridng this in 1st service, they said we will check transmission and later said everything is fine while handing over vehicle back to me.

Today morning when my brother plugged in his Ather rizta 2.9kwh with pro pack, he got an error msg in Ather app saying ‘No load detected by charger’ and the screen on rizta stuck at initialising and the scooter won’t charge !!
Did any one else face the same issue or any one knows how to rectify this ?

Yesterday night, I fully charged my Ather Rizta Z (2.9 kWh variant). I rode it to my office in the morning without any issues. However, by noon, when I tried to start the scooter, it was completely unresponsive. There was no ignition, the dashboard wouldn’t turn on, and the vehicle was essentially dead. I couldn’t even reboot it.
What’s worse — the scooter is just 10 days old! Is Ather turning into the next Ola? This experience has been extremely disappointing.

Hello, did you receive any response or solution for this issue? I’ve noticed the same problem. Due to the extreme heat in Chennai, the motor tends to overheat, which causes the throttle to be restricted. In Smart Eco mode, the speed doesn’t go beyond 30-35 km/h. I have to switch to Zip mode to achieve higher speeds.

I also feel stiffness of handle seem to be tight i think my scooter is new thats Y but it’s manufacturing problem now i know .

Writing review after 5 months of driving. Highly disapponted with battery performance. Discharge fastly and charge very slowly. It takes almost 12 hours to full charge Many times i had to push physically due to unexpectdely discharge on the way.

Solution *Dont use magic twist .Use real brakes (most imp)
*If your motor is too hot just keep for 5 min then ride
*Check Tyre pressure
*Dont ride aggrasively in hot noon
*Update to latest software if available (To know raise a complaint in app to check for latest version)

Due to handle Razoor kit may be or has to change or handle may be pend or has to tight as i did

Update: Called the SC in Nungambakkam. They sent engineer. He checked and said their was an update halle ing and because of low network in Ather it was interrupted and the vehicle was dead. He manually plugged in his laptop in Ather and had to upload the update. Took 45mins to 1 hour to completely solve the problem.
