:joy: “Hey, you’re the most experienced Ather rider here. Can you help clear up some doubts for us? The representative from SC seems to lack knowledge about practical issues.”

overnight drop on my 450x is around 3-4% so 48 hrs drop would be around 14-16% it’s fine

Usually My Ather or My Cousin’s Eizta consume 12% Maximum for 2 Days Halt

But 14% I never had, Maybe Due to Winter - The Extra 2% Drop

How about Your Ride Range? Do You feel any loss in Range??

14-16% for 2 Days isn’t Normal Bro, Maybe Winter is doing this

Usually 2-3% Over Night Drop happened in my Experience

mine drops 3-4% in 12 hours so for 48 hours of idle it’ll most definitely consume 12-16% maybe only in winters

Yeah Winter is taking Everything (Comfort as well as Scooter SoC) :joy::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We will try after 1-2 Months on Summer Days about this Parasitic Drain

With a typical city ride at 40–60 mph, I am getting 85–90 in smart eco.

40-60 mph is 65-95 KPH Bro

Riding Smarteco will take Time to Give Range and Speed

Use Zip, Ride at 45-50 KPH for Good Range :metal:

I am experiencing persistent issues with my Ather Rizta after its recent service. The handlebar has become tight again, making it difficult to maneuver, while the rear suspension feels excessively firm. Are these problems commonly encountered across all Ather Rizta models, or should I take the scooter back for further service?

Yes, Front and Rear suspension feels like seating on bycycle, went multiple times to electronic City banglore SC, no use those people always make excuses with no resolution. Handle bar and belt noise issues occuring persistently, mine was just 2k driven.

Today, my Ather Rizta traveled 30 km continuously, and I decided to charge it at an Ather Grid, I was at 29% battery. My plan was to charge up to 50% to ensure I could reach home safely.

However, after connecting to the Ather Grid, the dashboard showed an “Unable to Charge” error. I tried restarting the scooter twice, but the issue persisted. I immediately contacted customer care using the number displayed at the charging station. They suggested performing a reboot, which I attempted multiple times—but still, no luck.

The customer care team then advised me to take the scooter to the nearest service center. Thankfully, there was one exactly 20 km away. With just 29% battery left, I had no choice but to ride at a cautious 25 km/h to conserve power. After a tense ride, I reached the service center with just 2% battery remaining—a close call!

The service team is now inspecting the issue. I’ll update once they diagnose the problem. Fingers crossed!

The service center team has informed me that my scooter failed to charge at the Ather Grid due to a lack of network signal. They also pointed out that my Ather app hasn’t synced for the past 8 hours, claiming that a scooter without a signal cannot charge at a Grid.

Honestly, this sounds more like an excuse than a genuine reason. If this were true, shouldnt there be a backup mechanism for such situations? It doesnt make sense that a charging station requires a network connection to function properly.

Right now, the team is charging my scooter using their showroom s portable charger, and its currently at 18%.

What do you guys think about this? Does this explanation seem reasonable, or is it just a way to cover up a bigger issue?

Looks like Rizta’s are facing network issue from past 7/8 hours. To me looks it looks like legit explanation. Since charging is paid, Rizta/Ather not able to access your wallet balance due to no internet. I agree, Ather should have some sort of fail-safe mechanism in such scenarios.

Yeah, Today after I was charging at this Grid

And A Customer came with Rizta to Charge

They waited 6-7 Mins (So Vehicle Temp isn’t an Issue)

After me, He connected but It went to Not Charging Mode

Then He asked help Since He is New to Ather. And I checked Unplugged and Connected (repeated couple of times) and It started Charging

I hear these issues exclusive on Rizta

I didn’t notice that, I thought it was a Grid Issue and Repeatedly Connected and Disconnected

Same thing was happening with rizta vehicles and gen 4 450x too in many vehicles. Very few vehicles were able to charge in single connect, and for others we need to hold the connector until its locked at the grids. That too is not gauranteed work around. When informed same thing in Service centre, they are saying “The Issues is with particular lot of vehicles and we don’t know where the issue is”

Also, you know after signal is lost last thrusday. I tried to hard reset my rizta thinking if it resolves the signal issue if i am only the one facing then my bike started showing factory mode and how many times i reset also, the factory mode is not gone.

I tried once the signal is back on thursday night, it didnt worked. I keep checking every day and the factory mode was gone after resetting on monday.

After it is gone, new issues appeared like coasting regen not working and magic twist went to off and not turning on. Again after multiple resets, they started working from monday evening.

Now my bluetooth is gone which is workign flawlesly till monday i s now not working. I am able to pair my phone but Ather app will not connect to bike and keep saying “connecting” amd coming back to “connect” option.

Even resetting again multiple times didn’t worked, uninstalling and installing Ather app didn’t working. The same issue with every phone.

It used to show “waiting for xxxx” in phone notification bar when we open Ather app now it is showing as “waiting for QCOM-BTD”.

Raised a ticket and as usual Ather replies back with standard template “please follow the steps for connecting bluetooth” as if we are very new and don’t know how to connect bluetooth. After scolding in reply mail then they said we are escalating and needs to see what they will do and how many days it takes.

Also, till date TPMS is not available in Hyderabad for Rizta Vehicles. Service centre people are not ready to install, saying we dont know the procedure for installation tpms in rizta. We didn’t received any procedure from Ather.

No one from Ather responds regarding this.

When i visited kukatpally service centre(Pride Motors) 2 weeks back, mentioning my rizta belt was making sound whenever i am accelerating like bearing noise. The service advisors were coming and asking whether if i came for service, when i told there is issue then they are leaving without a word and nobody attended to me for 45 minutes. And later one guy came after 45 minutes and said belt tension needs to be adjusted and we will not take bikes other than service. And asking to come another day, i asked him i need to speak to their senior Mr.Yashwant (so that i could request him to take my bike for issue resolution as i cannot come on other days except saturday). They made me wait for half an hour more and later the guy came back and said “He will not come, he is busy”.

During diwali sale, i also made my relative purchase 450x then they said they are offering 50% on accessories and my relative said he dont want anything, so i asked them if i can take accesories for my rizta with that offer as i took bike from them 20 days before that and my relative also not willing to take. They replied okay for it and when i asked for tpms they said “installations are not happening now, so please come when installations starts. We will give you 50% discount as promised”. I said i will purchase thennitself and keep with me till installation begins. They said they cannot give at that time and Now their sales team no one is responding.

Such a pathetic and worst service Ather is having now in hyderabad. Till last year the service and sales team was awesome from pride motors and now they are replying like this and ignoring customers.

@tarun @smridhi.kalati @abhishek.balaji

Ather has to set some strict policies when it is dealing with thrid party dealers like Pride Motors, Raam Ather etc. and should maintain quality in terms of service and sales.

Ather is becoming ola day by day and also they are happily proving the same that they are becoming like ola.
