Yes, we have heard Apex Users and we are working on light theme so that your overall navigation experience improves. Allow us some more time to announce when this is seeing the light of the day (no pun intended!).
Feedback on turn signal volume being lower is noted and will be shared with the relevant team - thanks!
The different versions of Ride Stories you might have seen were actually part of an experiment we ran to gather user data and understand what’s most engaging and useful for our riders.
Here’s how it worked: We rolled out 3 different versions of Ride Stories to different users. The learnings from these experiments have helped us create a brand new, improved version of Ride Stories. This new version is now available to all users as part of the AtherStack 6 upgrade in the latest app.
Basically, your feedback through the experiment helped us develop a better Ride Stories experience for everyone!
Currently coasting regen updated planned is already tailored for different modes so you as users don’t have to worry about different levels. Based on feedback, if users feel more customisation is required, we will optimise for it further to provide a better riding experience for you!
While for Magic Twist which is a curated experience which involves regen as well, is customisable for low and high end settings that can be chosen from settings in an Apex.
Currently, the app doesn’t offer the ability to export ride insight data or view historical data in detail. This is due to two main factors:
Security: We prioritize keeping your data safe. Exporting raw data can introduce security risks, and we want to make sure your information is protected.
Performance: With a large user base, providing detailed historical data for everyone can put a strain on our systems.
However, we understand the value of understanding your ride data. Can you tell us more about how you’d like to use historical data? Knowing your specific needs might help us explore alternative solutions within the app.
For example, if you’re interested in tracking trends in your riding efficiency, we could potentially develop features that provide insights or summaries within the app itself.
We’re always looking for ways to improve the user experience, and your feedback is valuable. Let us know what specific data points would be most helpful for you, and we’ll see how we can best accommodate your needs!
Hey @sunku.vignesh!
Some great news here! Apex will continue to retain its theme and Ather stack 6 will be available in the Apex theme itself.
And yes, we have heard Apex Users and we are working on light theme so that your overall dashboard experience improves. We will get back to you once we are close to an announcement on this!
With respect to Bluetooth pairing and automatic connections, you are definitely going to be seeing a significant improvement. We have invested significantly in the new pairing flow and made it more seamless plus the reliability of connections means that you are not going to see any disconnections as well.
The overall responsiveness in using the new interface on Rizta Z is definitely something that you should find smoother!
No, AtherStack 6 will not be changing the UI on 450s or make it similar to what we are seeing on Rizta Z. The two displays are very different - while 450s has a segmented deep view LCD display, Rizta Z has a TFT display.
Hey @nandeesh_a You will get updates on both scooter and app, while the new revamped mobile app has been released already. The first update on scooter will be rolling out in early August paired with an app update around the same time.
Yes, we understand that currently few of our users do experience reliability issues with pairing their mobile to their Ather. Following are some of the improvements you can expect to see in the new bluetooth pairing flow as well as subsequent bluetooth connections:
the bluetooth flow can now be initiated seamlessly from your 450x or Rizta Z dashboard by just scanning a QR code, that will open the pairing journey in your mobile app.
post that, giving permissions is going to be a breeze - we have simplified the journey so that it will take less than 50% of the time it used to take earlier
and we have fine tuned how bluetooth works underneath, with the help of BLE firmware upgrade - this will mean that your mobile will auto-connect 100% of the time reliabily and will not face any disconnections.
If there are still any issues that you all are facing after full launch of AtherStack 6 - please let us know so that we can iron out any edge cases - but we are confident that should not be the case!
We are experimenting with this internally and can potentially evaluate this as a capability for Ather Owners as part of AtherStack 7 upgrade.
However, we would love to hear from you as to what scenarios you would like to use GeoFencing - will be great if you can share examples of situations where this will be useful. We would love to hear what you would expect from an experience point of view to happen once a vehicle crosses or comes inside a geofence for example. How big of fences would be practical and useful? Please pour in your thoughts!
Asking again… why will ping my scooter not be available on Ather 450s? Why is there a step motherly treatment for 450S model?
Like you broke the navigation on 450s with the new app update to Ather stack 6 and didn’t even realise it until it was raise with your team via twitter ?
This is pretty weird and should not be happening. Can you please reach out to customer support for this and we should be able to help. Is anyone else also facing this issue - please do let us know.
Crawl Control is one of those exciting things we are internally working on, but we are still a little further away from making it available to users, yet.
Apologies, this was incorrectly reported on our website scooter comparions page a few days back. Yes, Ping My Scooter will be available for 450s also! We have rectified this mistake on the website now.
Really flattered to see the excitement amongst our users about different aspects of Ride Stories! Those in-depth stats you saw during the sneak peek, like braking and coasting time, were definitely planned. However, during our early alpha testing we figured some minor issues with this feature for a specific, small cohort of users. The team is working to iron out these small chinks and get it to you at the earliest. Your words are indeed an encouragement for us to double our efforts and provide you the best experience out there!
Even before the latest AtherStack 6 updates, we have made significant reliability improvements to our on board Google Maps navigation as we were seeing a lot of issues with respect to scooter not understanding your location perfectly. With the addition of 2W specific routes, we are now seeing early reports of improved feedback - but do let us know if you are still facing any other map errors. Your detailed and rich feedback will help us tremendously to further iron out other issues.
Regarding Dark Mode in the App and Themes for Vehicle Dashboard - these were mentioned as future possibilities when we announced AtherStack 5 last year but are still cooking up. While we understand that some of you would be valuing these much more, we had to focus our attention on improving maps and rolling out other new capabilities of AtherStack 6, most important of which was the new Mobile App.
Having said that, we would like your feedback on the new ride stories section the new mobile app - which is having a dark theme! Also would love to hear suggestions on what kind of themes you would like to see on your vehicle dashboard as well.
Yes, you are correct - we are showing optimal tyre pressure to owners who have installed TPMS on their scooters as an accessory only. And yes, the information as to what the value for optimal tyre pressure should be visible and shared with all in the most easy to discover manner as well. We will get back on this soon by providing this information on dashboard or mobile app or some other intuitive way.
