Hi Adityaa! We hear you!
That’s something the team is discussing at the moment and as and when we have it ready we will be excited to announce it to you
Thank you, Prof. This is indeed a good idea! Yes, safety has been on top of our minds at Ather and many conversations around safety are underway, and some exciting tech is under review. We’re looking at things like rider safety (eg: using vehicle telemetry to help detect emergency situations) as well as peace of mind for your loved ones (eg: can we trigger alerts to your loved ones or send for help in emergency situations)
AtherStack 6 is going to provide following new product experiences to our customers:

Enhanced remote tracking of Ather for you and your loved ones - Live Location Sharing, Alexa based tracking and Ping my Scooter

Hello there!
AtherStack 6 encompasses features and improvements across the mobile app and the vehicle dashboard.
You’ll be able to track progress of a charging session on your iPhone right from your lock screen very soon
(PS. Do remember to switch on appropriate permissions which iOS requires for us to show you a live notification)
Currently, on the 450x, we only have two options for themes - light theme and dark theme. While the team internally has some interesting ideas which we can evaluate to ship after AtherStack 6 release, we would love to hear suggestions on what kind of themes you would like to have on your 450x dashboard!
Ugh, first of all, I'm sorry about that and thank you for reminding us. It's something the team is working really hard to fix. The complexity lies in the three way transfer of data between your app, the vehicle and the cloud. But yes, you should expect improvements as part of our upcoming updates.
However, ride data is expected to sync by 7 minutes, so in case you find the lag much higher in your case please do reach out to us via Customer Support and we’d look into it!
These are very interesting suggestions / feature requirements. We will evaluate them and see if these can be rolled out in future updates to AtherStack.
Hi Ananthu! Live notifications for you to track the progress of a charging session are coming to your iOS device soon! I hope you'll enjoy the experience and provide us feedback :)
We understand the Ather vehicle is loved by many in a household and often by friends and neighbours too and therefore it would be a good idea to give our users more control over profiles and devices on the app. This is going to go on to our tables for us to brainstorm about!
AtherStack 6 is going to provide following new product experiences to our customers:
All new redesigned and intuitive Ather App - it comes with a new companion widget on your home screen that understands yours and your vehicle needs to suggest you the next best action.
In addition, we have improved overall in-app navigation experience so that you are all set to go the moment you key in - check out the new trip planner experience.
And of course, ride stories now comes in a brand new Avatar - with many new interesting insights about your rides along with a special new addition of monthly highlights that you can check at the end of first week of every new month!
The subsequent updates to the new mobile app by end of August will also help you with a super seamless and highly reliable bluetooth connectivity experience to help you manage your calls or enjoy music while riding.
AtherStack 6 will also make your in-ride connectivity more useful by providing you ability to read WhatsApp messages on Dashboard (of course, not while the vehicle is moving) and ability to Call decline with message for those important calls that you can’t ignore / accept / reject.
Enhanced remote tracking of Ather for you and your loved ones - Live Location Sharing, Alexa based tracking and Ping my Scooter will make your Ather much more accessible than it is today.
The top speed limit is applied in such a way to ensure we are able to give a consistent performance at top speed for as long as possible. The alternate would be allowing you to reach a higher top speed but which can barely be maintained for long enough, resulting in performance being capped after a short while.
Our focus has always been on giving you a consistently high performance experience over the course of your ride, and more importantly the entire course of your ownership. Additionally, keeping in mind this is a scooter and majority of user riding is in very specific conditions, a higher speed wouldn’t really be all that useful.
As of now, we haven’t yet planned this, but its very likely to come up in a future scooter that we will be launching sometime later.
Satellite view is indeed an interesting thought, what other google maps features do you miss today as compared to the onboard google maps navigation experience we provide on 450x today?
Currently, our SmartEco mode is optimised to maximise the range on your scooter and hence you see acceleration being supressed to some extent.
However, this is an interesting feedback and I can understand that in specific situations, our owners would like to have more control on the vehicle performance, especially when they are confident of a shorter distance or ability to charge their vehicle before battery goes to zero. We will evaluate if custom EcoModes can be enabled - in fact, during the latest ACDC 6 - we actually had few of the techie owners configure their own modes at our ASDK booth within Magic of Engineering (of course we could not allow that to be taken home), but yes, good learnings and thanks for the suggestion!
AtherStack 6 comes up with many new exciting features that are powered by our cloud connectivity capability as well as intelligent computing - and we are very excited to see how useful these turn out to be for all the existing and new Ather owners!
For example, in the new mobile app, on the home screen, we have added a new widget at the top which understands your vehicle state and tries to predict the next best action for you. It will tell you basis intelligent predictions if your next destination requires you to charge your vehicles or if the tyre pressure is low. It will help you to find nearby chargers or also help you with servicing reminders, if one is due. There are multiple use cases that will be enabled and the idea is to make the Ather App truly your go to companion for your Ather.
We are also rolling out Alexa integration with AtherStack 6 which allows you to to know all about your Ather (and so much more in the future), right while you or your loved ones are relaxing at home. Your scooter is just a voice command away now. Apart from this Live Location sharing with your emergency contacts will also be enabled by our reliable real time cloud connectivity.
can we directly go to the neighbourhood chargers to charge our vehicle? is it a fast charger or do I have to carry my portable charger as well? how can I locate and navigate to them?
Thanks for reaching out about the trip efficiency meter and your suggestion for a live efficiency graph! We hear you, and understand how valuable Wh/km readings can be, especially for understanding scooter performance.
Here’s what went into the decision to remove the real-time efficiency meter:
Focus on User Needs: As Ather reaches a wider audience, we’re constantly learning about user preferences. Our data indicated that the real-time efficiency meter was primarily used by an extremely small, highly enthusiastic segment of riders. For many users, it added additional complexity to the interface to understand Wh/km as a metric and how it translates to their rides. We prioritize a clean and simple experience for everyone and felt that redefining efficiency as kms/unit of electricity was significantly simpler, but still gives enough context to the enthusiastic segment of riders.
The Future is Personalized: We completely agree on the value of features like live efficiency graphs for power users. In the future, as we develop more personalized experiences, giving users like yourself the option to customize their screens with features like these is definitely a priority. We can’t share a specific timeline yet, but hold tight!
Your feedback is very valuable, and it helps us shape the future of the Ather experience. We look forward to hearing more from you!
