Yes

Yep. Although I had to force them to check the belt tension. They made faces, and then unboxed the brand new microphone (I’m probably the first person they were adjusting the belt tension for). The guy plugged it into his phone then they had 4 people collectively figure out how to do it properly :joy:

Yeah true. The sc i visited just looks at the belt everytime and tell me that its good to go. What microphone are you talking about?

SC use a microphone like device to check belt tension, SC adjust it within a range and further tune it to get desirable sound

No no no…

There are 2 bolts on each side of the swing arm which pull the rear wheel further away to create tension on the belt.

Secondary belt for my Ather was required to be replaced at 10K servicing in 3.5 years. This costed me around 3500 including labor charges. I was informed that, front wheel bearing is also required to be changed. estimate given is 1600. Belt and bearing used in Ather has short life span. These components are used in other two wheelers as well. Those are not needed to be replaced so frequently as in case of Ather. Ather is using sub quality parts and I had to bear the cost.

When I raised ticket, it was closed stating isolated incident whereas I see lot of such incidences in this forum. Any guidance whom to escalate?
