Very bad service experience. Bought the 450 apex scooter last month; map never worked. Service keeps delaying the update. Auto hold fails at times. After 20 mins in sport mode, pickup drops—even with 70%+ charge. Peenya service is unresponsive after 4 visits. Frustrated with the experience. Overheating issues too.

tell me one thing that’s more useless than the mudguards on the 450x and the Ather app that doesn’t let u upload pictures

I’m facing connectivity issues with Bluetooth in my Ather 450s 2025. After the initial pairing, it almost never reconnects automatically. I have to remove the device and pair it as new every single time – incredibly frustrating!

The GPS is also unreliable for me. Sometimes it tracks movement, sometimes it doesn’t. Inside the app when i check my ride history it just shows a straight line between the start and end points on the map, with no actual road details or turns. Turn-by-turn navigation rarely works as expected. Sometimes the navigation I send from the app doesn’t even appear on the scooter’s display, and when it does, it often stops working mid-journey.

I’m also experiencing 4-6% battery drain. And it’s disappointing that promised features like the auto indicator cut-off and Incognito Mode are still missing.

I had submitted a ticket about these issues on the app like a month ago still no proper response from their side.

first monsoon with my Ather and there’s lot of scraping noise (metal on metal contact) all the time is that common? I’ve checked it’s not the brakes btw

try giving a water wash in the area you hear the noise, jet wash if its around tire/belt/suspension area. Noise is mostly because if dirt betweeen moving parts caught due to rain water

I do give it a quick wash daily as it gets super dirty like a dakar bike from just daily use

my Ather 450 went into low power mode code m027 , took it to service centre they are quoting 35K just to change the wiring harness ? is this price legit guys ? i feel like im being scammed

If I remember it correctly it was15 k for gen 2

they havent given me the printed invoice yet ,but they estimated it to be 35k for wiring harness , and they said headlight change becasue high beam not working would cost 25k !! isnt 25k just to change a led bulb too high ? i will post invoice once recieved thanks for response guys

Ok so the Weirdest thing happened , Ather had been calling me incessantly the past few weeks about exchange offer where i can upgrade to their latest model if i pay some 1 lakh i had blocked few of their numbers , and then suddenly out of nowhere i get this error m027 and i cant exceed 30kmph, and when i went to service the first thing the service rep told me was i should exchange this bike or it would be too expensive to fix it , is this just coincidence ? or just a scare/intimidation tactic ? because they are the only one who can change spares and service (monopoly) ,my hand feels tied and i cant even verify their claims

Try collecting all evidence These ppl are really smart when u fill an issue via app or tell them the issue they don’t mention the full history in there records only few and when u have the same issue occuring again they will simply say it’s not mentioned in previous service and it’s ur fault be really careful and record all ur calls ppl who call with there personal number no calls are recorded only company number have call recordings

If only the wires are cut and it’s possible to re wire them DIY best if not they will definitely do those dirty tactic…

talk to Ather cc once in app, looks like service centre is scheming to loot u 25k for a headlight is downright insane

i have emailed customer care 4 days ago but still have not recieved a reply back , this service centre is the main branch in chennai (nungambakkam) , if you ask me this feels like its coming from the higher up MBA’s this is the exact play book followed by apple ,sony and some luxury car brands , sell the product competetively or at a loss and then charge exorbitant amount for the spares , the management needs to think of something original , this tactic has been overused

were the calls from local service center/store or from central Ather team? any idea? Also which gen Ather do you have?

Everything comes paid, even labour starting from180rs minimum for even changing a rare brake pad to tightening loose screws…

Local dealer people will only call for Service alert and feedback sometimes, no calls from Direct Ather … never expect also
