Nope, there was nothing about mudguards.
I guess the guys in white shirt with splashes on the back were a nod at the mud guard suppose one was carrying something of sorts in his hand as well.

Is this compatible with the old Ather scooters,if they have provided some hub for the rear wheel like for the bikes which would do much better without compromising the asthetics of the vehicle.
