Yes, that’s the prevalent cause of most removable battery scooters catching fire. Every time it is reconnected, there is a small chance of it getting looser.

IMO loose connection is not an issue here, split BMS is, or they failed to design it properly

First of all they are setting up new standards in launching same vehicle repeatedly with different spec from past 3 years I guess. And more over under the hood it was always been a copy cat from Ather or sometimes rather they used Ather itself so no trust nor even average impression on this company for me.

Have you guys seen the Simple One’s UI? It’s very very smooth. Feels so responsive to touch and buttery. Not a fan of the UI but damn that thing is so smooth. Any idea as to what processor it uses?
I wish Ather had the same smoothness on our dashboards too.

Ather isnt smooth at all tbh,once the belts have some dirt and mud 450x makes some of the wierdest noises and vibration of any EV.Even compared to other belt driven scooters like S1 Pro theres always little buzzing with 450x

i clean my belt regularly and apply grease but i have heard horrifing sounds from other owner’s 450x like the one in video

Believe Simple is a scooter and it’s better than Ather.
