Tyre punctures can be fixed at any roadside stall for Rs 100. The 450 uses a tubeless tyre so you are not going to get stranded with a completely flat tyre.
Hell, I drove for 2 weeks with a nail in my rear wheel until the Air filling guy at a Shell Petrol bunk pointed it out.
On a side note, looks like there is a nail mafia in the KR Puram - Whitefield stretch. Had 3 nail/screw punctures in the last 4-5 weeks and all are coincidentally on the rear tyre.
On road assistance service is pathetic. Today, my battery died mid way, in the middle of nowhere, no shops, no buildings, only road and plants. I called the on road assistance number. I tried 5 times, and after waiting on IVR for 10 minutes, both agents disconnected the call without giving any solution. Finally, I had to call a mini truck, load Ather into it, and then reached home. The On road service from Ather proved to be useless.

RSA is downgraded, if you call them outside the working hours of Atherâs CC, they wonât even bother picking up the calls. Recently even when I tried to call them, 6 minutes of wait time and the person picked up and hung up. Thankfully Ather CC was working so I called them and explained the situation they were delighted to help and connect me with RSA.
Something tells me if one gets into trouble with his/her Ather outside working hours, RSA, they will turn a blind eye.
Booking for RSA should be available on the app. The vehicle should be picked up within a turn around time, depending on how far it is from SC.
Calling to get RSA should be the last option.
My cousinâs Ather 450x broke down yesterday. We were riding on the highway when the motor suddenly turned off. Even though the vehicle was stationary, the dashboard speed kept increasing. Started from 70 and went upto 240 before we switched off the vehicle. We tried rebooting the scooter several times. The motor just wouldnât turn on. This was around 08:00 PM. We called the number given on the app. We called 3 times and each time the operator hung up the call. I understand now from reading this thread that the RSA may not be available outside working hours, which is fine. But the inconsiderate clown on the phone couldnât even mention that before hanging up on us. Very disappointed and kind of pissed off.

I got into trouble at 11am, well within working hours. You guys need to accept that Ather Roadside Assitance is pathetic, instead of trying to make it look like it was not Atherâs problem.
