Does anyone here have contact info of anyone in Ather management in Uttar Pradesh? I have a malpractice complaint to make and do not wish to the support tickets route as from what the showroom owner showed me that all the support tickets I make are visible to him since he is the nearest Ather touch point, regardless of what type of complaint it is.

Never going to SC for breakpad replacement again. Also got the 40k service done. Want to know if 5k service is mandatory for the 5 year battery warranty to be valid?

Yes, Ather has made it mandatory to avail the warranty that every 5k service has to be done at their ASC, they will pull data from your scooter each time it go for service.

To be Frank, Battery Warranty and Periodic Service doesn’t have any Relationship.
So Its not Mandatory to do Periodic Service to avail Battery Warranty But Safety Reasons Kindly Do it 
My Last Periodic Service was at 75k KMs and Vehicle is now running at 85k

your battery pack warranty is over, so you might not need service at every 5K, you already have claimed the battery pack.

Mine is Gen 2 450x which has 3 Years Unlimited KMs Warranty on Battery 
My Statement is after discussing with Service Manager and One of the ASMs

Dear Team,
I am one of the earliest adopters of your Ather scooter. My scooter bearing registration number KA51 HJ4169 has clocked about 17k kms and it was purchased in 2019. I have ensured that periodic maintenance is carried out regularly. I dropped the vehicle today at Yelahanka (Bangalore) service station (D & V GREEN - WHEELS PRIVATE LIMITED) for regular checkup with a complaint of ‘too much noise from the scooter’. After diagnosis, the service manager (Mr.Manjunath) has now highlighted that the noise is owing to a bearing issue with the motor and that the entire motor has to be replaced. It is very disheartening to know this and it is to be noted that the vehicle has only completed close to 17k kms. Do note that the vehicle was regularly inspected and underwent periodic maintenance as well - this can be validated from your records. I have been informed that the cost estimate for motor replacement is INR 33k + associated labour. Such an exorbitant amount for maintenance work for a 17k run scooter is certainly unwarranted. The vehicle is still in the service station. Any advice is appreciated.

This might not be a motor issue. As faced by @prasathvishnu also was quoted too, to a motor replacement. But fortunately it was not the motor and something to do with asc tactics, with belt tensioning. I would suggest you to visit a different asc and get their suggestion.
Wish that Ather bring their own asc which was so much better.

Even smallest of issue in Motor, the only option is replacement, which is 1/3rd of vehicle cost. This is really concerning as you are riding on your luck post warranty.
Whether this is really a motor issue or not, very hard to tell. In my case, it was sheer case of incompetence from the service center and zero support from Ather. Did you record the sound by any chance?

they charged me 80rs for fitting the a mirror,bruh its 3 allen screws which they fix by electric screwdriver not even hand
