I don’t have a portable charger. They said they’ll come for the pick up tomorrow.
Portable charger is just for confirming that problem is with pod not with vehicle.
I took portable charger recently, for testing and charging purpose tomorrow. You can ask me. I stay in Malleswaram.
Have the same issue.
I am seeing some problem only for right turns… I have to press twice mostly to get it engaged, I press it little hard consciously…
Left turn works fine…
Thanks Sar. I called up @pkg7723 and he got the charger. It looks like my house earthing is not compatible with the portable charger. But my home point is. Which absolutely makes no sense.
Chandra Lyt to attiguppe 61km.

I got my Ather about 10 days back and ive been pushing it to it’s limits. Both range and performance. Today I got a chance to push it to it’s too speed. And this is what I was able to get
This was with a pillion on a down slope.
This is what the odo was showing
Wanted to post this because I had seen up to 92KMPH in posts on the forum. Hadn’t come across a 93.

There’s a very percievable loss of throttle response at 89-90. The feeling you get when you hit 62-65 in ride mode.
I don’t really have any complains about it. It’s porbbaly done for safety reasons. But I don’t understand why the speedo doesn’t show me anything over 90
In any case. I still thoroughly enjoy riding my Ather.
A brilliant machine indeed
Catching up with the conversations after a while. i too had this issue and was recurring too… Finally when i had the vehicle go to the the service center twice, i got an update that the wiring harness has been fully replaced with a new one andAther is checking the root cause of the issue. i have not got any updates on the root cause so far though.
I hope, there should not be major issue and your bike to recover sooner.

Over past month or so, I feel the front suspension is not right… Going thru the smallest of humps or potholes makes lot of wobble…
Does any one face(d) the same?
I have been facing this issue right after one week of ownership, sent vehicle twice for service but no luck, finally I gave up and using it thinking everything is fine.
It could be… I started noticing since a month… When Ather technician came for a different task, I asked him. He told me to raise a ticket and send it for service… Planning to do it after a week.
But my wife is sure that I was driving very very carefully in first 1-2 months that I used to drive over the humps smoothly then and now I am driving thru the small humps and potholes not as well (as good as my old scooter). So I am guessing it might have been there but noticing only recently…
Heads up about the issue with my scooter.
I was promised by the ather team that I’d get my scooter by eod. (today)
I even called them to ask about it and they said that the service team would get in touch with me.
But no one called me. I never expected this to happen. I know that there are a thousand scooters on road. And you guys get a lot of them on daily basis. But i really don’t think the internal communication is streamlined. They really need to fix a lot of things.
She’s back to where she belongs!
There was an issue with the BMS. As they didn’t want to hold up my scooter (that’s what they said), they have replaced the BMS and put in a new battery all together.
I am worried about the quality checks of Ather team before releasing the product to the owners. Many owners have complaints about the vehicle. Some parts replaced, repaired or some owners had enough of raising complaints and kept quite.
Sometimes I feel love for Ather has over shadow the actual issues faced by the owners and failure to address them by Ather team.
My thought is that, it can be any product teething issues will be there when it is launched. The more the parts the more issues, fundamental for a product like automobiles and any machine intact. The positive aspect of this is that they are taking feedback from customers by involving them in the process & testing, not affecting the customers by providing a loaner vehicle, prompt service & support. Ofcourse agree with issues being faced but that is part & parcel of any new product and the best part is learning from the issues and hope they get themselves sorted and get it going. I am sure these are only planning & organizing issues.
