as stack 7 was launched couple months ago still hasnt rolled out to scooters with basic features dont expect OS upgrade any time soon or even more than a year

My friend had purchased an Ather 450x 2025 (3.7kw) on October 1 ,his screen has zero lag smooth animations like on our phones , definitely there has been a hardware change.
Huh, if that’s the case, Ather would have jumped up and down and made an announcement. Maybe the system is on factory default, wait for the AS7 update and let us know

Factory mode has gone, i own a 2024 Ather 450x , I’ve seen the smoothness of my friends Ather, his maps dosen’t lag for once, the animations are absolutely smooth .

No idea. Their official spec sheet still says apex is still with the old hardware. Since the creation of this document is August 2025. Im guessing it will be available from next year along with abs.
They still chose this chip instead of a better high preforming chip makes me mad. Even ola with gen 1 pro has like SD720. Which is way better than this. Who decides these things… I need to have a piece of mind with them.
S1 Pro gen has like SD450 then they changed it to a proper VCU in gen 2
There’s a high chance the Cruise Control 2025 Apex is coming with the updated SoC. When I checked the spec sheet for the Apex, it didn’t seem like the one for the 2025 model with Cruise Control. Since Ather has mentioned a newer chip somewhere and the latest model is the 2025 Apex with Cruise Control, it’s very likely that’s the one getting the new SoC.
When you download the Apex Specsheet there is no mention of Cruise contol anywhere on the sheet.
Look at the bottom right corner the new QCM 2290 supports Cruise Control and other things but the Snapdragon 212 does not.
Ather Apex 2025 does come with Qualcomm QCM2290
Cruise Control has nothing to do with Dashboard SoC.
