After seeing this. I need call ambulance now
Dear Ather team
Pls address my concern
I booked my vehicle on 17th Nov 2018 and got delivery on 29th Sep 2019 … pathetic…
My friends have booked on jan/feb 19 and have got the vehicle on Jun 19, much earlier than me and their range is very good min 85KM to 100KM in Sports mode with the top speed of 60km/hr to 70km/hr…
Pls clarify…
Really i dont know how they are getting very good range even after driving at a good speed.
I am driving now within 35 to 50 range (which is very bad , i am used to drive at an avg speed of 55 to 70 km/hr ) from past couple of days but still not getting a good range …
Reach out to customer support for any issues with your vehicle. This is not a channel for individual queries.

When did you complete your payment ?
You might want to check the tyre pressure and also keep it checked every month. Also, you could get your vehicle washed to maintain smooth functioning.
Not sure how the first part of your message is related to the range
Hope you read this FAQ page… ; there are plenty of tips to improve range
Check your tyre pressure… Inflate it before your rides…
It will drastically change the energy used due to change in drag
How does the Average Speed gets calculated in the Stats? Does it take idle period into consideration?
For e.g. if one drives average speed of 30 kmph for 10 mins and then waits in signal for 10 minutes, will the average speed be 30 kmph or 15 kmph?
Based on my experience, idle time is also considered for avg speed calculation.
Oh okay…
Could be debatable… But, my thought: when we say “speed”, it should not consider any time when the vehicle is not moving…
Well, then should be rephrased as ‘average speed of that journey, point A to B’’
In physics,
Average Speed = (Total distance) / (Total Time)
You are right.
This comes in the ride statistics for a specific ride along with Top Speed. So, in the context where we see this number for Average Speed, I felt it is relevant to consider only the speed
It takes into account the speed & time only when your vehicle is moving.
‘Speed’ by definition
Speed is the distance traveled per unit of time. It is how fast an object is moving. It doesn’t have a direction.
Average Speed
The average speed of an object is the total distance traveled by the object divided by the elapsed time to cover that distance
Agree with the definition for sure…
But, when we see Top Speed and Average Speed together, Average Speed showing so low ( if idle period included) doesn’t give a number what user usually expects to see…
Hi folks. Im a new rider and have had my flight for only a few days now. I had a question on how to use the motor kill switch. Do I have to turn the motor off in signals? Will that improve my mileage efficiency? Or can I just leave it on? What are the best practices on use of motor kill switch?
this is nothing to do with increase in range
but it is good practice to engage kill switch at a signal to avoid accidental acceleration… please make a habit, it will help u a lot avoiding unwanted situations
Using Engine kill switch will help in increasing the range in ICE vehicles.
In EVs Motor kill switch will not help in increasing the range as nothing will be ‘running’ when the vehicle is idle.
But as @Abhishek has written it is a very good habit to use the motor kill switch to avoid accidents like for example 1) unintended acceleration or 2) engaging reverse assist by kids standing in front
