I was using Apex for almost 7 months, and today only I noticed that it doesn’t have the cooling fan. I am really disappointed. I don’t know why they removed it.

OMG i bought apex has hell lot of heating issue in motor
Then 450x was far better

@tarun Its never too late to Add Back the Cooling Fan to the Apex and Gen 4 above
Feel free to Call Back the Units Sold to Fix the Cooling Fan since the Dashboard UI has the Option to Enable it

Ohh shite shots fired now Let’s summarise this u pay extra to get 100km/h for a temporary trial… From 90 to 100 (10+) magic twist And yet no cooling system to assist it
Oh hell with it so theoretically even the gen 3 can have all of these as it has cooling system…

am even ready to pay extra for warp+ on my gen 3,warp feels wierd now it doesnt have that kick anymore but i was thinking it maybe due to belt tension

No it not coz of belt tensioning at all. They have killed the warp mode.
This warp doesn’t even feel like the sports mode we used to have.
Its a boring scooter now. They’ve killed the torque we used to have.
Feels like a dragged scooter now.

Gen 3 can have what Apex have, But Twist is I twill be Better than Apex itself on Gen 3

Finnally found a fix foR this heating issue in apex
For apex riders here If you are facing heating issue Dont use magic twist it creasts heating issue by giving overload to motor
Use normal brake when you need top acceleration and cooled motor
Normal ride you can use twist
But for high intense riding dont use magic twist It cant handle heat in motor
100% garundee if you dont use magic twist
Vechile will have performance sustained for more time
I can comfrom this even on rash driving and mototr cools faster 
Hence magic twist is useless in apex . Only if you drive slow and medilum its useful
Other wise if you want apex u definitely need performance.So compromise on magic twist you can get longer time sustained performance

Let not pretend like Ather cares about the apex. So much for their flagship product with the headlining feature that it goes 10kmph faster than the normal model. You get a unique UI which you pay for by losing usability during the day. You pay for early access to magic twist which overheats the motor. Solution to overheating? Don’t use the feature you paid for. So much for the apex for performance.

One more thing I find this soooo sooo funny we all know what they said when we asked for live efficiency meter they clearly said we don’t want u to get distracted and other nonsense bahana which is understandable.
But idk why they have spl effect for warp+ ?? Goint at 90+ u wanna give spl effect to watch Get this bahana out of here broo
Still hope they provide us with live efficiency and on screen display of watts used per kms

Sure it’s friction?
That would actually destroy the motor. AFAIK it makes the motor as a load (like a resistor )for the excess current generated and that energy is dissipated as heat by the coils in the motor (not as destructive).
Sadly I so damn addicted to the magic twist wouldn’t like to turn it off.
Hope they get the fan back and some how weld mounts near the motor to hold the fan and cool the motor with it.

Yeah, Magic Twist most probably twist the Coil in Opposite Direction So Motor Stops

In that case the motor construction would change from regular models, which I highly doubt Ather would do. They’ll just dissipated the eddy current/back emf in the coil. It’s the cheapest and safest option XD
