Thanks it started to work
Facing same issue
Yes i am facing same issues
Hey guys! Man Rizta is a smooth bike but definitely has some flaws indeed,
- While riding the scooter the dashboard automatically reboots itself, we need an answer to why this occurs?
- 20-30 seconds lag on turning indicators, like cmon! That’s a necessity and needs like milliseconds!
- While on the dashboard just browsing through maps the O/S just hangs and even after joysticking for a couple of minutes there’s no movement whatsoever and just freezes till the bike moves
- The bike automatically shuts down below 25%. I have to literally walk for 30-40 meters then the display will show “ low power mode turn the key off and on”, like seriously? I really can’t go all out? Why claim that range then?
- Everyday I start my bike from 100% just for a 10 second ride the initial % rapidly drops by 1%, I can understand secondary o/p’s also need supply but that should be negligible.
- Auto hold doesn’t work on every terrain like the Ather 450’s, which is annoying and you need to keep your foot down to hold on.
- A couple of fast charging grids do not support Rizta charging even after following all the SOP’s laid as per sc, like if I plan a route and this charger that I desperately need fails on me how do I magically go to another point B with minimum range?
If anyone can please help me out with the above issues, it would help me a ton.
- I haven’t had that happen to me at all.
- Are you on latest software update ? (Check in Ather app → account → OTA updates), share the software info.
- This was an issue when I initially got the bike but trust me after an update or 2, it fixed all these issues on its own.
- Did not happen to me yet, I don’t let it go below 40%. Not your fault tho, I would suggest taking to SC to get battery health checked. Could be a defective battery.
- Yeah, even I face that. I think it is just calibration mistake. EVs take some time to calibrate battery percentage. I have seen that happen on Teslas as well (albeit a bit older one, not sure whats with the newer ones).
- Yep, even I have faced the same. I think it is some issue with the sensor not being able to sense the slope.
- While I haven’t used the Grid yet, I have been reading a lot of posts saying that charging doesn’t work on Rizta for some reason. In almost all of the posts, it was evident that a reboot of the scooter does the trick or you can also watch this short by FaizOnWheels about Rizta’s grid charging issue.
- Happens very frequently, luckily the ride never stops
- Indicator lag. Yes . But not everytime. Generally occurs alongwith a dashboard freeze
- Yes. Dashboard freeze or sometimes the scooter goes out of connection. Reboot seems to be the only option
- Haven’t faced this
- Yes. Yes. Yes. The first 10% percentage drops rapidly. The idle drainage later is also very significant. The battery drops even between rides if parked for more than few hours
- Yes. Autohold activates in useless situations and not when needed
- I have no access to nearby SC or Fast charging grid.
The autohold issue is one which is the most annoying. The shut down issue should not happen. If it happens regularly on your rizta then there is something definitely wrong. The scooter keeps on moving even after the battery goes to zero. The maps hang issue happens only the first time you go to the maps, second time onwards it isnt an issue
When does ping my scooter be enabled.eagerly waiting for the same in Ather rizta
It’s already enabled for most of people. What’s your Atherstack version ?
Is there any update for Dark mode in Ather rizta bcoz it’s very annoying while driving in night.
Hey Aadi,
Yes I am on the latest software, it’s on 30.6.0
The lag in maps is so dominant on the scooter, I mean when you navigate through the bike joystick. Else navigation through phone to the bike is fine.
Yes I think I will get the bike checked at the sc because we as consumers pay a bomb for EV’s and we need to get what’s claimed at least, basic necessity because we take a step from moving from petrol to EV after taking everything into account.
WRT the charging grid, I have a charging grid outside my workplace and when contacted the grid team they said that it’s the Ather model that can give issues since only at that time the 450s were programmed, sometimes the PCB inside the grid doesn’t sense or detect, if that’s the case then the grids should either have an OTA as well to make charging seemless across all models. Now there has been 3 instances wherein I had to get fast charging done and the grid failed me and I had to spend nearly an hour for another grid due to a wait line of athers before me.
I feel that we should have control of auto hold, like double press both brakes and engage it in times of need, this is a safety feature men, women and elders.
Also just wanna ask everyone out there, For Ather Rizta owners, after 65KMPH does your bike start to slightly vibrate or have a kind of noise? It’s like the bike is going towards max rpm and once you touch 78-80kmph it just feels different.
Nah, 30.6.00 is not much actually. That is the main AtherStack but the latest version is AS30.6.00-202438. If you are not on 202438, but at a higher one than 32, I think you do have an issue. I haven’t received the latest update either, but after updating to 202432, my issues with the lagginess have significantly been reduced.
Yeah, I actually have a suggestion that they add AutoHold as a manual engagement & disengagement thing as well, sometimes it doesn’t work on its own. They can get it done with the motor on button since that is pretty much not used once you start riding.
Don’t think so, I find it pretty stable.
Does anuone know how Smarteco works in Ather Rizta … I know that it regulates the speed as per the battery charge etc. But I need to know exactly what happens??
Imagine your scooter claims to give 50km/L. But if you ride it harshly, you might get 30km/L, and if you ride slowly, you might even get 70km/L.
SmartEco ensures you at least get the claimed 50km/L (or more) by limiting your throttle inputs.
With SmartEco, the range what you see on the dashboard is definitely the range you’ll get if you continue to use the mode. But it does it by limiting the power you can achieve.
Assume you were riding slowly for 20km and were getting 70km/L. That means you can also ride for another 20km harshly, get 30km/L, and still maintain 50km/L efficiency over the 40km distance.
SmartEco ensures your average fuel consumption remains at the claimed 50km/L. If you were riding harshly from the beginning, it aggressively limits power to get 50km/L. If you were riding slowly, it ensures you get more power available for overtaking.
There are some electric nuances like Regen additionally helping you reclaim some of that efficiency (you will get -5km/L downhill/coasting for example), but the analogy is similar. EVs use Wh/km instead of km/L.
Thanks bro…
Anyone notice that the connectivity with Rizta is now better ? Earlier, it used to be atleast 30 to 40 mins before the last ride gets updated onto the app.
Now, it gets updated within 10 mins or so. The scooter is updating data every few minutes it seems, which is great. I just had 1% of drain last night with better connectivity too.
Mostly, some backend thing got updated along with the Ather 10.4.0 app
Even the pick up in s eco mode got very much better in rizta s after 700km
Yes , I have completed 500 km and I am getting upto 65 km speed in smarter mode .
Did u recived Bluetooth update. Is your turn by turn navigation working?
Yes with new Ather stack 6 updates Bluetooth and ping my scooter , share location and indicator auto cut off , map navigation working as expected with no lag for me .
