That’s the only thing I really really love about it’s just works bruh
Yeah Syed, Auto Hold works Great in Traffics also Need Time
More than Software, Hardware is much Reliable than Any other EVs in the Budget ![]()
Only if it doesn’t disengage automatically. ![]()
In my Use It never Disengaged Automatically ![]()
Does it disengage automatically? Never happened with me. But under what condition does it happen, like after long ride or high temp?
I was on a overbridge with stiff decline. With a very bad traffic which took 30 min to cross 200m.
It disengaged multiple times automatically.
Ooh that would be inconvenience for sure… Hope i don’t get caught up in such situation (• ▽ •;)
I wish there was a physical tool like activa over and above this
It never happened to me, Even with Hot Motor on my Gen 3
Often I use Dev Mode on my Scoots
And First Time Hearing Such Cases
You wont
Actually it works most of the cases.
Mine was an edge case. I always ride on warp + 160kg on a slope that too for 30 min impressive.
But it should show that it is disengaging before doing so.
Still don’t you think it would have been better if we had a physical thing to hold the breaks. Like many time we have to park on slope or sometimes we switch off the scooter and the breaks disengages. An extra physical break holder would have been great.
AutoHold is really well done honestly. We don’t appreciate it enough. 10/10!
(Does anyone else get STRONG vibrations when Autohold engages at non-steep slope? I feel like it might be a sign of a bad belt. My entire scooter starts vibrating (this started a few weeks ago only) when autohold engages and the scooter is not on a very steep slope)
But it will reduce the life of rotor significantly.
Yes yesssss when u hold the brake it vibratesss like crazy
I don’t think it’s the belt. There might be some conditions like weight, slope gradient, motor temp in which motor controller engages and disengages super fast which results in vibrations.
At the end of the day, it’s just an algorithm that doesn’t let motor spin backwards while keeping motor temps in check. Continuous torque application does put a lot of strain on motor. For example Ola’s implementation is way inferior in this regard, it doesn’t work like Ather and it let’s go withing few mins.
