Just happened to spot this at a nearby petrol station. Looks like a swapping station for some sort of 2 or 3 wheeler.

Spotted a “EPRO” Electric 3 wheeler owned by Tork Motors using the Honda e technology batteries. 5 batteries in each 3 wheeler
I guess tork is also going to be moving into 3 Wheelers.

I expect them to be around 50k to 75k, considering Activa e comes with no battery and qc1 is low in everything. Will see.

Without home charging its sales will be challenging. Depending upon swapping stations distance from your home. Not good

They may target people who do deliveries.
Imagine they setup very large network of battery stations and charging costs slightly above to the home charging, it’s going to be a hit.

That’s why, even before the sales are up, there are over 80 charging stations in Bengaluru. I’m pretty sure they are following in Gogoru’s footsteps.
it should also have a home charging setup as it would be a hassle to visit a charging station to replace the batteries. but having both makes no sense.

See unlike in Ather where I can manage with crawling speed to my home to put my scooter to charge. We can’t do the same with this? How will you manage if charging station is situated far from ur house? At least in Ather I don’t need to run to swap battery every time I can just plug in.

But someone can carry your dead battery, swap it, and bring a charged one for you.
Or they can start a delivery based system too?
I think theyre trying to mimic the petrol habits where you go once or twice a week to a station for a quick 5 min top up

But with EVs, you almost need to charge every 2 to 3 days. This doesn’t scream practical to me. They should have had given swappable + charge at home, that would be game changer, not this.

But if charging station is far you need to be dependent on another vehicle to carry ur dead battery right? Unlike petrol vehicles our EV drain irrespective of being used or idle unless they are shutdown. So this doesn’t seems highly convenient.

At 7:05, this kind of dashboard experience we expect from Ather, just look at the maps it’s so smooth, even the placement of the UI elements are intuitive. And we are here fiddling with jittery touchscreen.
