@abhishek.balaji Their should be an option to turn on and off the hazard light basically both indicators to blink together.

This could be usefull if their is any issue in the bike while riding in flyover and just want to let other vehicles know by turning on the hazard light.

During rainy season or winter if their is heavy fog /rain while riding it can help other vehicles know that ather is on the road.

I have been on a dark narrow highway in night where trucks were zipping fast beside me. I have turned on indicator to let them know, also i was pushing as i ran out of charge. I think it will be helpful in times like these

Very interesting option being bought to implement the feature but the main Reason for an Haazard light should be only used when the Vehicle is in Stationary position just to indicate the vehicle presence , unlike many users use this while being in motion which is totally dangerous and fatal .It is an offence to use the Hazard lights while in motion .
@abhishek.balaji: The feature of hazard light should be enabled only when the vehicle is in stationary state and not in the motion and can be released in the future updates .

I too feel the need of same, also there is no pass switch for headlight. One more thing the luggage hook needs improvement, may be ather can release some accessory.

I’ve had some personal issues with people using the hazard lights just for fun or as a ‘straight’ indicator.
In my opinion hazard lights must only be used to indicate the vehicle coming to a sudden halt (braking due to an emergency / an animal coming in between or something) OR when your vehicle has broken down in the middle of the road OR you are reversing OR you’re parked at the side of the road and need to indicate to traffic that you’re going to be stationary.
This is another thread where a user named Gowtham has given his views.
Using hazard lights when you’re riding in fog or heavy rain or whatever just creates confusion for the people behind you. Are we supposed to assume you’re at stop? Are we supposed to assume you’re another thrill seeker who’s just using it to showoff and speed? Are we supposed to assume you’re coming to a sudden stop? I’ve almost fallen down because of people like this, it’s not a happy experience.

Agree. I think Hazard lights should switch on automatically in Park Assist mode. That way, you’re either reversing, stationary, or moving the vehicle very slowly with both feet on the ground.
People should be focusing more on slamming the brakes rather than turning on the Hazard Lights when braking suddenly. Unless of course, it turns on automatically, like Gowtham’s Fiesta in the Trifod forum. But that might be a stretch to implement. I think Ather can start with enabling it in Park Assist mode.

From the experiences I’ve had on the roads, unless hazard lights work ONLY when the scooter is stationary, I don’t wanna have it. There’s way too many idiots on the streets who leave their hazard lights on while they navigate their way through the traffic, and leaving the person behind wondering what turn is he/she gonna take next. Absolutely scary and extremely unsafe!

Turning on hazard lights while the vehicle is in motion is actually illegal. Its meant to be used ONLY when the vehicle is stationary or being towed.

I travel on a national highway alot and travelling 70 kms daily tends to be tiring so i take breaks. When i park the bike I’d like to put on my hazards to alert trucks that I’m at the side of the road. Alot of accidents have been taking place lately and having Hazards would really help.

All of us are well known with the Hazar indicators function like, how they work & how they help.
An Ather because of its sharp design & funky lightings will deliver an astonishing looks with Hazard Indicators. I agree that it is nearly of no use to have hazard lights in a scooter but It inversely would work out for the Youthful owners who use their Ather for fancy purposes like Instagram reels, YouTube videos, etc.
It can be a stand out feature for an Ather, not many scooters are providing this. Unlike the “Guide-me-home-light”, another kind of useless feature which Ather still continues to provide, the Hazard Indicators will atleast do some work better than it for sure!!
We have seen this feature live in their YouTube video & that’s maybe a hint…? like it is possible for them to offer a feature like this in future. This is only possible if you guys demand it,
