The product specifications are not completely clear apart from safety certification and battery health since the device shown was a proto. Info like ip ratings( if present, like when helmets are locked outside storage), range of chitchat function, disassembly of cushion inside for cleaning, will alexa always be listening or will there be a physical button( not present in proto), warranty info for the electronics inside…

Nope there ware no physical buttons on it…
Nor Alexa (tho is comes only with Rizta)
U won’t be able to change songs unless u own an Ather due to no physical buttons.
Also no pinlock and no sun visor
During the community day event
the visor was not smooth so they removed it 
But still 14k I really hope they do something about this in 2 months

I vaguely remember that the helmet will be automatically paired to your phone by the time you put it on head.
I assume the call, music, etc will be sourced from phone and not from the vehicle. In addition the vehicle will have option to accept, reject calls, play, pause music.
Assume you have a Bluetooth headset, smart watch and a phone. The helmet plays the role of the headset, vehicle plays the role of the smart watch. You can accept/ reject calls & play/pause music from a smart watch; use the headset to listen.
It would work the same way.

That defeats the purpose of this smart helmet for another vehicle.
That is what that joystick is for!
I also think the helmet will be connected to phone and phone will be connected to Ather. Whenever a user wants to change song or answer/reject call it will be done through joystick.
That’s the whole purpose.
If not, this will turn out to be the dumbest invention!

And here’s where the argument that the helmet is made for riders fails!
No rider is driving Ather. They’re all driving premium bikes.
And those bikes don’t have joystick.
If not launched carefully, this will turn out to be the most useless and expensive accessory till date by Ather.

And for those who are gonna get Rizta thay might even get it coz that fancy charging and all but others no way in hell they will buy this. What u said if so true did the design team not think of this ??? I really wanna be there when the discuss about products and design and all

i wanna be there when they thought of not giving touchscreen to rizta,this scooter is aimed at 30+ year olds who have zero to no hand eye coordination,they will never get used to joystick menu
what they are used to is tapping on things they want,not even gestures

In the era of 450 X and 450 Plus… which is the same scooter btw… just locked via software… believe me they would have earned more had they given an option to plus users to upgrade to X post purchase by paying 20k extra… ppl would have happily upgraded if they felt they needed the extra features few months down the line… it would have been the best selling service they would have offered but sm1 in marketing decided that either u take it during purchase or u dont… and i know so many plus users who later wanted the software features but were stuck… also moving from plus to X doesnt even require a software update… i was told its the same scooter and the scooter connects to the server to check if u are X or Plus… so its just a toggle of a switch by sm1 at the Ather office. I sometimes have a hard time understanding the marketing tactics of Ather
