At the turn of the new year, we’re excited to bring to you the all-new 2025 Ather 450 with an array of features, that make it the true ‘Bike of Scooters’!
Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 Ather 450:
1. Multimode Traction Control:
The multi-mode traction control has finally made its way to the Ather 450 series. This feature helps prevent rear wheel slips caused by sudden acceleration on low-friction surfaces, creating a safer riding experience for you, be it on a rainy day, or a sandy/muddy surface. This system provides riders with three modes namely:
Rain mode - A mode meant to maximize control over wet surfaces, this mode gives you the fastest torque intervention with limited acceleration. The outcome? Greater control over your ride and greater confidence for the rider.
Rally mode - Whether you need to ride your Ather across rougher patches or simply enjoy the thrill of riding across more challenging terrain, this mode is for you. It gives you the least torque intervention with the fastest ramp backup, for a safe, but fun riding experience.
Road mode - Being the default mode of the system, this mode gives you a healthy balance of safety and power for everyday usage, where you may come across the occasional patch of sand or gravel during your ride.
2. Magic Twist:
Our stand-out feature from the Apex and Rizta is now coming to the 2025 Ather 450 series as well. Experience the seamless throttle experience of Magic Twist with all the goodness of regenerative braking across all 2025 Ather 450 models.
3. Increased Range:
The all-new 2025 450 Series brings a significant increase in IDC range across all models. A brief comparison between the new models and its predecessor can be seen below:

4. Reduced Charging Time:

6. Atherstack 6:
AtherStack is the layer of intelligence that powers everything on your Ather. All the features that are a part of your Ather like the dashboard UI, vector maps, ESS & FallSafe, etc, are a part of AtherStack.
Some of the other features coming to the 2025 450 Series include:
WhatsApp on Dash:
WhatsApp on Dash alerts you when you’ve received a message and lets you preview it without taking out your phone. This feature can be used ONLY when you’ve halted. This feature is not available on the 450S.
Alexa integration:
With many Alexa devices well integrated into our daily lives, we’ve built and are launching Alexa integration for your Ather. With over 40 prompts, you can check on your scooter’s charging status, parked location, push navigation, and more.
Ping my scooter:
If you’re in a parking lot and don’t remember where your Ather is parked, simply press the ‘Ping my scooter’ icon on the Ather App, and the lights will start flashing. This feature will help you find your Ather very easily in just a couple of taps.
Ather App:
The AtherApp also gives you all the information you need at the right time, without any hassle.
With live notifications on your lock screen, you can now check the charge of your Ather without opening the mobile app.
Ride Stories on the Ather App:
Ride Statistics is now Ride Stories. These are divided into 3:
- Ride highlights
- Badges
- Sharable Stories - share your ride stories directly on Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.
