Yup, only few of the 20+ manufacturers could adhere to the FAME 2 rules.
I heard in a different article that even Hero Electric is yet to get FAME 2 certification…
But in Long run this should not matter and this should be seen as a very short slump
Hero got it. They had half page ads in newspapers announcing it, but the ad itself was very underwhelming.
On the other hand, the article has an alarmist headline to it.

Checked the Etergo website. The 240KM range is misleading. Its not for real world driving conditions.
The range is based on constant driving speed of 20km/hr

The battery is removable. There are 3 battery slots in the vehicle. Each battery is 7.5kilos and has 80kms range (in test conditions). You can use all 3 batteries together. The base price includes only 1 battery and you can buy additional batteries if you want (depending on your usage). It can be charged in the vehicle like how we charge our Athers or at home (sling bag kind of setup is better that that in Revolt). Even if it gives 50kms on road per battery module, 150kms is a good range. But the total estimated cost of the vehicle with 3 battery modules is around €5000!
