Yes and if you slow charge the battery life will still get reduced

From my experience with smartphones, fast charging tech has always accelerated degradation in lithium ion battery life. First few months are great and then you see it. Within a year, you are likely to have your charger on you at all times. Even today, companies like Nokia consciously choose not to make use of certain kinds of rapid charging tech in their mid range.

Coming back to EVs, even Ather had mentioned at some point that fast charging using their grid on a very regular basis (like daily?) is not good for the battery. Slow charging from the homepod /cable charger should always be your first option.

But if it’s entirely new tech like @punithklk79 says , don’t really know enough to comment.

Smartphones have lithium ion POLYMER batteries and has a big difference when it comes to EVs… EVs do not have polymer batteries and work differently… so the moment it reaches its cycle limit its performance will dip drastically…

I dont have any source… But I think most smartphones uses Lithium-Ion batteries, not Lithium-Polimer…

Even in power banks, it is rare that very few like RavPower and OnePlus uses Li-Po battery because its expensive…

It’s a fuel station which also delivers bio-diesel.

There’s no mention of charging points in their website.

It sounded like a private EV charging station.
So I requested @ather_rajs.in to ask for some space for our chargers…
Nice eateries also…

They may still agree to include an ather charging point. Let’s hope.

A surprise feature which I wasn’t aware of… Is it in plans?

Haha Tarun says the feature isn’t there  it’s likely a misinterpretation by the journalist.

Yeah it isn’t there now… But the interview transcript says it’s possible…

Is it in plans anytime?

I highly doubt it. They’d need to add a good amount of hardware to make it work. I think thr feature already there is data from the sensors about how the suspension is working. It’s not prediction though.
