Thanks to Ather Upgrade Program exchanged my Ather 450 gen 1.5 and got Rizta Z 3.7 kWh

My guess is this icon means auto hold unavailable or can’t ride inclines due to motor heat or other issues

This icon popped up once in normal ride and once while park assist reverse was engaged

Rizta user manual doesn’t mention about the meaning of icons shown on dashboard.

Internal error codes meaning need not be disclosed but icons meaning should be communicated.

Yes, it is autohold disabled. Should not have issues climbing.

Rizta compared to 450 series

  1. Motor kill switch removed for cost cutting (tip to cut off motor instead of turning key off and on, when stationary open side stand wait few seconds and close side stand)
  2. No Rear disc brake (had much more confidence on gen 1 brakes)
  3. No Touch screen it’s not a big deal when you can do everything using 5 way joystick but when you realise their is literally no way to enter a Google maps location using scooter dashboard and there is no search button or pop up keyboard we can navigate using joystick. We always have to use phone to push location or keep most used locations as saved locations which is opposite to the advertisement for connect plan “never take your phone out”
  4. Top speed is 80 kmph on dashboard and real speed is 70 kmph. acceleration / roll on acceleration compared to 450 gen 1 is a downgrade.
  5. Can’t rely on range mentioned on Rizta dash. 450 gen 1 we can trust the true range of 75 kms in eco. But in rizta if trip planner says round trip possible don’t trust it. They over promised and can’t trust 100 kms in zip and 125 kms in smarteco as true range May be magic twist contribution to range is over weighed in calculating range, but for highway rides it is incorrect. May be they can improve with OTA
  6. So due to inaccurate range we have to keep some reserve range so when using grids i always wait for more time and spend more money for costliest grid system
  7. Grid network is billed as per time even though they assured billing is done only for the time scooter is fast charged we are penalised as it takes longer time to go to 80% in hot climate and also it takes some more minutes to unlock after reaching 80% (missing grid charging till 100% soc and lifetime free grid for my OG 450 gen 1.5)
  8. Why can’t they include basic features which are already present in existing scooters like dark mode why give it as an future update. OTA should only include new features these features should develop on existing features not start from fresh.
  9. Boot space in terms of liters is big but due to the shape and real wheel bump we can’t fit somethings (had some documents with a writing pad but it didn’t fit so had to remove writing pad and fold the edges of the documents to put it inside the boot)
  10. Long seat and back rest takes time to get used to and pillion should be aware of back rest while sitting and getting down or else leg might hit the back rest
  11. If i remember correctly when optimised charging was announced for 450x series there was two options one to restrict home charging to 80% at all times and another to gradually charge and reach 100% by 5 am. First option is not available in rizta
  12. Like 450 series headlights are not in handlebar and brightness is also not sufficient for highways, in city roads with street lights it doesn’t matter
  13. Could have directly given a usb port but NO have to buy accessories looks like everything is done thinking how can we make more money

There is a serious sync issue with the rizta which pops up every couple of weeks. The scooter does not sync with the app for hours, and will only sync once it is turned on. This was the scene since i bought the scooter, took it to the SC, got it resolved but the issue came back within a week. Only after the last update this issue seemed to be resolved, but then since yesterday it has again become an issue. And the scooter is no longer syncing with the app.

while TVS iqube has introduced the Touchscreen moving away from joystick/combo, Ather bom guys thought otherwise. This is a prime reason I did not opt for an upgrade.

Ather is the only company selling a scooter for 2l where you don’t even have the option to have an USB port

I am getting the “no hold” always when I engage reverse, after OTA update. :thinking:

Autohold always get disabled in parking assist mode. Cause, Motor is already limited to certain power level in that mode

Range is inaccurate, showed 12 km, and stopped on road after 5km.

Battery is draining fast, everyday it gets drained higher than usage

If you maintain 35-45 speed then 1% consume in 1km and if you maintain 45 to 50 speed then 1% consume in 700-800m
