Sharing My delivery experience so that it makes it easier for new buyers to understand the duration it takes to actually get the bike on your hands.
I booked the vehicle on 28th June by paying Rs. 2500.
I recieved a payment page on my mail on the next day and I did a full payment of Rs. 1.43L via NEFT, so payment done on 29th June.
Next was buying the insurance so that registration process could be initiated, I purchased the insurance next day, July 30th. Insurance costed about Rs.5700 via Autovert.
I got a call from ather on July 1st asking me to confirm if I wanted a dot charger or portable charger. I opted for a Dot charger.
On 5th July, a person from ather came over to my house to take my signature on registeration forms.
On 9th July, I got a call asking if I have any requests for special registeration number and I told that I donāt have any such preference and happy with any number.
On 10th July, I got a call for the Vahaan OTP.
On 12th July, I got a message confirming that registration fees has been received by electronic city RTO, MoRTH.
On 13th July, I got my vehicle registration no. via sms.
On 14th July, I got a call from Ather asking me when to schedule the delivery and I told by earliest which was today.
On 16th July, around 4pm I got my vehicle in IBC tech park, Bannerghatta main road. The staff who was assigned to give demo had difficulty explaining in English so I asked him to describe it in Kannada and he was quite friendly and explained everything thoroughly.
The Dot charger was given along the vehicle so I am yet to install it. Iāve driven a total of 70Kms so far and I must say the initial experience has been great.
Initially visiting the Forum posts did give me a lot of anxiety because of delayed deliveries and technical issues faced by other users, but luckily my experience with Ather has been great so far and I hope it continues, theyāve kept their word and delivered on time which is anywhere between 15-20 days according to their website.
TL;DR: Total cost of Ather 450x: 143100 + 2500 + 5700 = Rs. 151,300.
Total time taken to deliver - 18 days.

Well explained @fahad.paps, guy who was assigned to give the demo was a little uncomfortable in English but did good. Additionally, got a samosa and jaleebi Feedback of the delivery experience was taken as well.
@rayelipratheek24 I got my Ather today. Rode it to Hosur where Iām currently staying with parents. On the way, Ather did get attention from many passing by and the ones I overtook in mode.
@abhishek.balaji I have issues connecting Bluetooth (it gets paired but nothing after I see on the screen)
And the park assist, I tried multiple times to activate it and it worked only once. Not sure why that happened. Apart from that, ride till Hosur and surprising Mom dad with the vehicle went absolutely great!
I remember tomorrow it will be 3years, where fist batch(10) of Atherās were delivered.
I was disappointed like many that we were not part of that top 10.
I have to wait another 4 months for my turnā¦

@danielkoshy1 Itās more to do with the state government policy,like in the state of Maharashtra and even in Telangana ig itās mandatory for the operator to provide helmets with the scooter during delivery.
Finally got my green 450x! The process was smooth and the delivery was quite nice.
The ride back home was the best. I donāt have a 2 wheeler and after using this suspension, I found it quite comfortable over holes. And the range estimate number is quite accurate. Even after throttle being pinned down and very aggressive riding itās quite accurate. And the software also is quite smooth with connection staying connected. But the seat is soft in the beginning but after sitting for 5 km, the seat gets squished and thighs start paining cause the frame hurts when the foam is squished. Thatās the only drawback but loved it since I got it.
Please clarify, whether Iāll be getting Helmet while taking Delivery of Ather 450x in IBC Knowledge Park Bangalore.
I spoke to Relationship Manager, he acknowledge no helmets will be given to Buyersā¦

Getting helmets with the scooter is a state regulation. Karnataka may not have such regulation so the manager said that you will not be getting any helmet.
Hey everyone Iām new to the forum and Iām gonna share my purchase experience, ordered Ather 450x on 16th October requested for KA04 registration, I was promised delivery within 15 days, after they payment they took 6 days to generate invoice after multiple calls and follow up, further I receive a call from them stating that if I choose my desired rto it takes up to a week just for registration, I had to find a person in my desired rto to get the vehicle registration within a day, and den comes another issue abt ordering number plates, they need 3 days for it, and finally now they say they are out of Ather dot chargers and must order it which will further take another week, I feel they just give false promises and procrastinate as long as possible, now they are asking me to take the vehicle without a charger and use public charging until I receive one with no eta whatsoever, no person to contact , nobody answers the call, feel foolish for trusting them.
Hello team Ather, my vehicle was booked on 20th of november 2021, at the time of purchase i was promised max within a month i will get the vehicle delivered, which dint happen after waiting and calling multiple times around 35 days mark, then they started saying it might take 45 days you have been informed wrong, now if tomorrow ie january 4th comes it will be 45 days mark, still my vehicle is stuck in rto registration from past 1 week nearly from 29th dec, i feel really bad when it comes to the service of delivery promise from Ather, dont know what to say anymore, here omicron in bangalore is getting more severe, if they do lockdown, i dont think i seriously get my vehicle even this month, this is so pathetic and horrible, shame on you people.
Just now spoke with customer care for the 8th or 9th time in past 18 days, still they are uploading the documents for rto registration, which they already tried doing on 29th, quoting there was some error in the insurance policy, i dont understand what kind of messed up process is this, i paid the whole money as per their advice, here i have to wait without being informed and they will look into it only if i call and enquire multiple times for simplest of the process, such careless people, holding more than 1.5 lakhs for 50 days from each of the customer, very good way to earn, shameless managment and handling of the process.
hello all, just an update on the delivery, finally got my vehicle delivered on 6th january 2022, finally after getting it when you drive feels like it was kind of worth the wait, such a nice and capable piece of ride it is, just wow. was only unhappy with the transparency of Ather team just a little, anyways thank you Ather team for delivering such a product.

@tarun@abhishek.balaji We have pre-booked Order no - 173531 Ather 450 X (white) from Ather, J P nagar on 5th Jan 2022. At the time of booking we are being told vehicle will be delivered in 30 - 45 days. Its been close to a month now, there is no update from the sales representative. We tried to reach them multiple times over phone, some representative ask to make full payment now and delivery will happen only on March 20th onwards. They cannot confirm vehicle will be delivered on or before March 20th. Without providing timeline and blocking money (full payment cash) for 45-50 days, this isnāt acceptable. Whereas your website say delivery timeline of 15 to 20 days!!
