Why all 2024 apex, 450x & 2025 450x user are ignored in terms of infinity cruise we all need this as a feature backward
Don’t worry they won’t give any features to old customer they don’t care about old customer. Ather means no backward compatibility.
Probably because it will only be rolled out to vehicles that have traction control as infinite cruise also relies on input from the sensor in the front wheel.
Riztas have a traction control. But they didn’t got the cruise feature!
I was really hoping that we would get cruise control for Rizta’s. But we got touch screen functionality instead!!!
It’s not at all a gimmick, there were multiple instances when traction control intervened and helped me in slippery situations. It is extremely useful in places where there is frequent rain. Also regarding reverse comparability, tarun said that the front wheel sensor is required for the cruise control, so scooters with that sensor may get it in future updates which means all of the rizta’s and 2025 450 series.
Actually, Cruise and Crawl features were promised way back in Ather 450 X gen 3.1 that is the early 2023 launch version. But that never came and Ather said because of safety concerns they dropped plans for it. So if we are talking about backward compatibility and promised features the features announced today should actually be given to people owning the Ather 450 X gen 3.1 2023 onwards as it was promised to them. Actually, you can even give it to the Ather 450X gen 3 2022 owners as the internals of gen 3 and 3.1 are the same. There are only minor upgrades.
I heard ABS and TC have no link, Leave this but In my Opinion Traction Control is really Good in Ather
At First I thought this as a gimmick too
But After experience it for about 1000 KMs, It’s a Great Thing for Many People
2024 Apex owners got robbed. We were sold the pinnacle of the 450 chassis and the next year they re-released it, while being superior in everyway and cheaper. I really regret buying an Ather from that year. They really should atleast give us an upgrade package for the older scooters.
I hope they bring Else mast looted customer
It’s time to not promote or buy Ather anymore. Because today if you buy another one, tomorrow you will become same old customer to them and they will not give you any consideration.
Think before suggesting Ather to anyone twice .for Ather they say if you need new features u have to change your scooter every year this is there concept.
Gen 2 owers said the highest price for the lowest specs
I totally agree after I received the vehicles more and more hardware changes even back mudguards belt covers are not compatible with Ather gen 3 series felt bad when we complained the issues and other users get the updates now I feel 450 x users we don’t care either upgrade or continue with what you got attitude

Stop thinking that Ather is a software company, no backward compatibility to any new features unless it generate money (e.g., fast charging from grids, voice control using halo). That’s the reality.
I am fine with what I have now and don’t want some existing features to be discontinued (they did in the past) or new bugs to be introduced in the name of upgrade.
If they want money am open to pay for new switch gear with joystick and new throttle for magic twist if the pricing is justified but they just dont acknowledge to devlop for existing scooters which have the hardware but little different cause of supply chain issues
When Ather 450 apex(2025) got cruise control then why not 450x(2025) have cruise control.
I had also purchased Ather apex on Nov 2024. After some months they had introduced gen 5. Where after spending 2lakhs I didn’t get traction control and now I will not get cruise control also. Spending 2lakhs above on a electric scooter where u only get a unique color and 10% increased speed. After some
Months they will introduce extra speed in 450x scooter. Like It is now not worth it and I only got 110km range where new gen Ather apex gives 157 approx. And the biggest problem in this scooter is that there is no exhaust as it get very hot in summers and the magic twist doesn’t work. Total waste of money​:smiling_face_with_tear:
