As per your statement its not a problem but it is an problem as u can see my intermediate pulley what can a belt rubbing to it can do even the belt has reduced its size by constant grinding on the pulley wall. I got my intermediate pulley and both belt replaced with my money now again same thing is happening. Please don’t wash up hands by saying its tested and all. its common sense if belt is rubbing the pulley wall it will eventually cause friction and wear the belt reducing its life. Get this issue fixed and accept its manufacturing defect if unable to fix and take necessary action to resolve issue with all the Ather scooter effected by this problem. We have spent our hard earned money to buy this scooter this kind of problem stops me form recommending any of my friends and relatives to buy Ather.
I have also attached photos of post replacement of intermediate pulley and primary and secondary belt.
Ask them to replace motor mounting bolts. This is the place where bolt is not holding in its original position. These will keep on happening if they fail to replace. Is the 2nd pic and the 4th pic you are referring in?
Customer service have closed my ticket saying there is no issue as service centre said its proper. Im still not convinced. Im helpless as customer service personnel is not technical qualified to understand the issue they are relying on service centre for all answers.
I had also questioned regarding the belt tension frequency that they have mentioned on service chart. How they are setting the frequency without having a belt tension meter. All i got answer is “ our service team is well trained and they follow sop strictly” this was an answer. All they are doing guess work.
How did you adjusted the belt to center, as i visted SC two times still they say my belt is at the edge but they says its perfect. Please suggest me few pics which one is correct and who is correct.
