Atherstack 6 Freda - 450 Series and Rizta

Dashboard Issues : I have faced the issue twice where the Software Update failed and the dashboard was stuck ( Horn doesn’t work , lights doesn’t work) and i have to go to service center without knowing which mode i’m in.

Is there way to avoid this ?

Are you living in a Low Network Range Area??

If Yes, Then Try to Update in a Place where You get Good Range

After the update is installed, start sound (when pressed break and start button) and side indicator sound were not working. After shutdown and restart they worked fine.

Facing the same issue. They told that there will be and update coming week which will resolve the issue.

Is it normal for battery to drain during update… It happened overnight and for the first time my battery dropped 5% within the night… Now after update it’s fine

Got informed by the service centre on 4th January that the battery is 48% imbalanced and the battery will be replaced under the extended warranty. It has been 20 days since I gave my vehicle to the service team and yet no progress. They say that they’re waiting for approval for the extended warranty. The irony is that the other vehicles which are affected and doesn’t have any extended warranty are getting their batteries replaced for 5000+gst as the issue was caused due to the update and as for the people who paid for the extended warranty, their replacement is getting delayed.

It’s not a big one but I just observed a cool small change in the latest update. It will only appear if motor overheats when auto hold is engaged. Finally their Autohold Timer symbol is working in the UI. It’s really cool that they added sounds for alerting the riders. It would be even more cool if they add the same into the UI like the Ultraviolette for example. Here is the video.

I came to Bangalore with Our Gen 4 and It Disengaged by itself from AutoHold atleast 20-25 Times on 2 Days Ride :smile:

i learnt that unless i enable location on scooter, i can never get ride stats starting Ather app v10.0.0 which i feel, is a downgrade and intentional.

and your regen thing is not yet fixed. coasting and reverse throttle regen is of same power (reverse throttle, i feel, should be stronger which isn’t).

even for light rev ,at 40 around, motor spins too fast and service centre guys told me that it is normal.

your app is literal garbage if you do not have gms since the app is completely reliant on it.

why force phone number login even if i explicitly opt for email login?
why turn on bluetooth on the vehicle every time i reboot the scooter?

same issue, why is reverse throttle regen so weak and coasting so strong it should be opposite or let users choose sensitivity levels for both

please look into regen,I miss completely stopping the scooter just with regen. give users ability to set regen power if you cant fix it yourself

Hate to break it to you but Ather is known for false and broken promises.

They market it like all models will receive the update features when one goes to buy the vehicle & when one checks their website, but when times comes they only give it to their top X model, Apex, Rizta etc and not the S varient.

So I would suggest you forget about this feature as well as all the new features that will be announced later down the road as even those will not be given to S model.

The shitty thing is they don’t even mention it in any of their catalogues, brochures, or website that the entry-level model S will not receive these features, all they do is false marketing and customer manipulation.

I don’t care if I don’t receive any of these ping my scooter or dumb features as it doesn’t affect my daily usage and I am happy with the features with my current 450S.

What I can’t accept is false promises & marketing of new updates for your scooter down the road because you bought the so-called Pro pack only for you to be disappointed because your model S is on their exclusion list & they won’t even accept their wrongdoing.

But we can’t do anything about it as we live in India.
