We’ve released a new update to the Atherstack 6. The updates have been pushed to your scooter and the new features should be available for you to access now.
Here’s what’s new on Atherstack 6 Freda:
Live location sharing - You can now share your live location with your emergency contact right from your vehicle, even while riding. All you have to do is triple-tap the power button on your Ather to share your live location. You can also share the location via your scooter settings.
To enable live location sharing, upgrade your Ather Mobile App to v10.2 and save your emergency contact.
Ping my Scooter - Unable to find your Ather in a crowded place or parking lot? You can now find your scooter easily even in huge parking spaces by buzzing your scooter’s horn and lights from the Ather App. Just click on the bell icon on your mobile app home screen and your scooter will call you with lights, sound, and action!
Customize charger on Trip Planner - You now have the flexibility to choose any charger and add it to your route. Our Trip Planner algorithm will tell you if the route including that charger is feasible to take or not.
Locate a pin - On the Ather App, you can now place a pin on maps and navigate to that location. There’s no need to rely on the search bar to look for the location when you can easily pin it with this feature.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) - Rizta owners! The TPMS is now supported on the dashboard. Now, you can stay updated on your tyre pressure without taking out your phone while riding.
These features have been rolled out and would’ve reached you all. If you haven’t received the update yet, be rest assured that the update will reach you soon.
Try out the features in this update and let us know what you think of them!
I am highly impressed by the performance. The location update happens almost instantaneously, with only a 2-second delay between the scooter’s movement and the location being refreshd
It dose flip the scooter like it’s going in a opposite direction but other then that it’s really good even the map looks clean i wish it was same as with Ather onboard map…
Please continue with changelogs for every update. It is always confusing whenever there’s an update with no communication.
Also, any chance of reverting the grouping of chargers in the Ather app? It’s such a terrible idea, hides the actual location of chargers and reduces usability.
Please take a look at how apps like PlugShare handles charger locations. Who thought it was a good idea to group them?
@smridhi.kalati. Live location sharing is a good option. It works good.
But live location can be shared for only one person… At least it share the location for 2-3 persons, it may helps.
If a person takes (emergency contact saved in app / the current rider) the vehicle and try to send the live location the message will be sent to the rider only. This may cause the problem…
In up comming update please give us a option to add 1 or 2 more contact as a emergence contact…
