As expected active regen is not working properly on Ather stack 5.8
How do you define ‘properly’? We only used to see ‘hue’ or now ‘flying wings’ besides feel of ‘Regen Braking’.
Same here regen does not work sometimes or not effective sometimes after 5.8 except that everything is fine
which gen do you have,I have gen 3 450x since smart eco update to stack 5.8 my regen was never broken in any update.
Mine not broken 
, but ineffective compared to regen before update, i have gen 3.1
opposite for me I have been playing with regen just to see the new animation and scooter comepletely stops each time to 0 kmph.

I got a hack for coasting regen. Press the break just enough for the regen to kick in then accelerate regen will cut off. Then when acceleration is let go regen will kick in. Wola ! Now you have coasting regen

I had the same issue just tell I took it the the service center they connected it to the wifi then tell them to update the gateway (grw.srec) which they dont do u have to mention it to them because gateway update is related to network
Finally figured it out, before under 20kmph regen used to kinda work but now as mentioned in the manual it works properly above 20kmph. Same here with new animation and now ik how much brake to catch to start regen.

On my vehicle, I received the latest OTA update which has changed the optimised charging behaviour. Previously it used to cut off charging at 80%, whereas now it slowly charges to 100% when charging at home in a certain time window.
As a long term consumer, I’m paranoid about my long term battery health, and as such I don’t mind charging multiple times in a week rather than take it to 100%.
So please can you help to look into this for many users like me?

Why would you think Ather would issue a ota update which would impact the on which battery they have given me a five year warranty and are monitoring
What should we all know and be worried about

chill Ather only allows to use 3.3kwh out of 3.7kwh battery pack so you are not using the full battery anyways

A regen stat at ‘drive insight’ section would be nice .like how much % we gained via regen at particular trip .
& also we need option to choose 80% optimisation or 100% full charge while plugging in .
