they might as well just give rizta tocuhscreen than keeping it optional as it barely saves any manufacturing cost

are you sure about this? there is a seat size difference between Rizta S and Z? :open_mouth: in the videos it looked same.

Is it  I heard Standard and Premium will have difference in Cushion

Yes. The specs sheet says so.

If this is the case,I would not know.

Yea. ACDC had different seats then when asked the entry level top variant have seat differences. Not sure is it the cushion only or anything

It can’t be the seat size. Obviously a smaller seat would need different panels entirely for the boot and everything.

Its most probably a seat cover difference or a cusion difference

its quite confusing really. the Rizta S shown in ACDC even had the backrest. but it could be that they have just fitted it as an accessory. and the backrest comes standard on Z.

the seat cushioning is my next doubt. not sure if the diff is only in the seat cover because that also can be added as an accessory. most likely could be the cushioning. this new seat difference point got added recently on the spec sheet. earlier the website showed a column only for back rest.

no. the spec sheet does not mention the seat size at all. it only says standard and premium. nothing else.

Probably it is the same size and only cushion is different. like the older gen seats vs the newer seat which was introduced at ACDC 23.

These days with Ather, you would never know what and how things will be until they actually come out.

Ather should release Rizta S with 3.7 kwh…

I don’t want any connected feature, but i want a reliable scooter with long range

They are trying so hard to create artificial differences in the lower and upper models without actually putting the effort of having separate production lines (which is fair because economies of scale would make it cheaper). But I think Indian customers can see through it very clearly, and the Pro pack tomfoolery is really just making it even more confusing.

My suggestion: Just give 2 options, low range non smart and high range smart. The battery and dashboard would alone justify the 20-25k difference they would have, without needing to do the confusing S Z 2.9 3.2 Pro pack stuff

Yes, i want to buy a scooter for my father, who does not need smart features, but range… i myself dont have pro pack on my 450s so i would not buy for dad…

But i want him to have a scooter with good range so he never feels range anxiety

I know average use of these scooters is 28km a day, but if i want to buy a basic scooter with higher range, i don’t have that option now☺️

May be they are saving the long range S variants for later when the demand reduces

Yes. Hope it happens next year. But since you’re dad is riding almost 30kms a day, please do keep him safer. That skid control feature actually looks useful. So you can consider getting the Z with pro pack just for that feature. Way too expensive tbh.

Okay i think skid control will be good in sand, but will it be helpful in tarmac

yes. works on gravel, wet and oily surfaces.

If rizta ever gets a touchscreen it will be mentioned on site like this

also did you forgot this? someone who literally worked on rizta’s UX said they removed touchscreen

the message in whatsapp is just mentioning what more you are getting over 2.9kwh z

Thats because its mentioning what it adds more on top of the 2.9kwh. My friend designed the UX. The rizta doesnt support touch thats why the UX is designed following the joystick.

So there is 1. Deepview Display 2. TFT Non touch and 3. TFT touch

Another thing to confuse people
