Ather Rizta | From our family to yours

so guys, which one would be your pick for a 6ft 2 inch heavy rider.

stick to 450S or go for Rizta Z 2.9 kW for the larger seat (comfort hopefully) and boot space? 450S is actually pretty tight for two heavy riders which adds to the confusion.

both are exactly 1.5 lakhs on-road in my case. usage is purely within a small town, heavy traffic and overnight charging. is the rizta premium worth it for the comfy seats and storage? magic twist novelty might wear off. would also miss the nice belt covering like on the apex :frowning:

please share your thoughts.

Definitely the Rizta! 450 series is very small for anyone above 6ft, narrow seat and very less space to fit without looking awkward.

one question, if the rizta is lower, would it be easier/comfortable for shorter riders when compared to 450X?

Seat is wider. So maybe we will have to wait for ride impressions.

Indian mentality is about prioritising multipurpose things. An average Indian would buy a 12-in-1 trimmer that can trim everything, instead of just a beard trimmer that can trim beard really well but for the same price.

Older iPhones could barely be multipurpose. While Android was king because there is always an app for everything on Play Store.

But it’s 2024, and both iPhones and Indian mentality is changing. iPhones can do much more now, almost coming close to android, and Indian mentality is also shifting from utilitarian to aspirational. We now also want the ‘feel good factor’, in exchange for some reduced utility (look at the success of Hyundai Kia group in India)

Lets see how that pans out for Ather

What’s the difference between standard seat and premium seat? I thought premium just meant back rest included but it appears that’s not the case as there’s a new column now for back rest.

Are we sure about this? I just met Experience center folks from E city in Bangalore location. They confirmed that Rizta S doesn’t have touch screen while as Rizta Z (LR and HR) have touch screen similar to 450

I feel premium seat should be the base + seat cover
