Yesterday, my charger fan stopped running, and this morning, after finishing charging, the charger became super hot. I thought the scooter had an issue and was worried about the battery and any voltage or power issues. This morning, I went to the Service Center (SC) and explained what had happened. They checked and replaced the charger with a new 375W model, replacing the previous 350W charger they told.
The charger cable was low quality and that the plastic was not good, making noise. Has anyone else had this situation and replaced their charger with a better one?
Is your network bar showing accurate signal strength? Mine seems stuck showing either “Full” or “1 Bar” with nothing in between. It even shows 1 bar in areas where I know there is zero network.
It feels like a software bug since it doesn’t update accurately anymore. Is anyone else facing this, or is it just my unit?
While a single bar is enough to slowly load map locations, it’s a night-and-day difference compared to the speed of a full signal. The real issue is that OTA updates are over 700MB; the weak connection just can’t handle those large cloud downloads. I’m forced to visit the Service Center for every update, which is getting really frustrating.
For me the updates download while I ride as I keep my vehicle in the basement where there is no network although due to wrong representation of signals the dashboard always show 1 bar and while riding when I get network it shows full bar.
I remember in earlier version of Stack 6 this was accurate and used to show correct network information.
Also as you point out that the map download when there is 1 bar on your vehicle that means for weak network your vehicle is showing 1 bar but for me it shows one bar for no network and full bars otherwise.
Today, my 1-year-old Ather Rizta bike lock set was replaced under warranty by the service center. Yesterday, the lock set stopped working, and I had to tow the vehicle to the service center. Within just one year, the lock set became faulty, which is painful and disturbing for consumers after paying such a high amount.
For comparison, my Activa has been at home for 30 years, and its lock set has never failed. Ather should enable bike start and stop functionality through the mobile app in case of emergencies like a lock set failure. My half day was wasted, and I had to pay extra for towing. (Last year RSA is expired ) which adds unnecessary burden just to get the bike back into running condition.
Yes, I forgot my key on the 6th floor and no one is in home. Also no lift, so I went back and got the key by steps; it took around 15 minutes, which was a waste of time and energy. If mobile operation was available, it would be a game changer on that day, I accept that this feature must be implemented along with dark mode, remote unlock is my top priority now. My priority includes dark mode remote unlocking, locking, starting, and stopping the scooter
You are talking about lock safe that feature is still not available. It would be available in future Ather Stack 7 updates I guess.
Shutdown is for the use case that if your vehicle is at home and you left out of station and forgot to put your vehicle in shutdown mode. You can do it remotely this will ensure that there would be no impact on the battery when not used for long time.
